According to some major statistics, the Buffalo Bills have the NFL’s best kicker heading into Week 11.

That is, of course, the single eye-black wearing Tyler Bass.

Bass, in his second season as Buffalo’s kicker, has barely missed a beat so far in 2021. So much so, he ranks as the NFL’s top kicker in a few distinct areas.

As CBS Sports highlights, Bass has the league’s best field goal percent, extra point conversion rate, and paces kickers in points per game:

I really like the guy but investing a 6th rounder was a little steep .

Right?!?! Just think about all of the all pro, diamond in the rough linemen the Bills passed on to pick this guy!

Should be All Pro but its still early

It’s still a popularity contest. So even if Bass keeps this up Justin Tucker is the household name and will most likely get it followed by KCs kicker unfortunately

Again, great scouting by the Bills seeing that his issues as a senior weren’t his fault and/or were correctable.  And another reason I hope they get a roofed stadium. He should be their kicker for the next decade.

And I hope that just because Haack is holding for FGs the way a punter should, they don’t not try to upgrade the position.

Bass is a freaking stud.  And I love what they're doing on kickoffs too - not just automatically booming them all through the end zone.  We're getting a lot of subtle field position edges just by having his skill set there.  Don't think that isn't also a part of our #1 defense!

So impressed with the kid hand it to McDermott for sticking with him after the rocky start

I'm sure he/they knew what the issues were.

Eh, they still should have cut him after he started his career 0-2.

I like the fact that’s he’s doing it all under the radar. I doubt most NFL fans have any idea who the Bills placekicker even is.

He’s still rather crappy on Madden (77)

I'm fine with them getting the nod as long as our boy is kicking FGs in the Super Bowl. Well, maybe XPs because hopefully we won't have to settle for FGs.

I loved Stephen Hauschka, but Bass has made me a believer. Plus, saying "Bass-O-Matic" brings me a small amount of joy.

Just, because...

Bass o matic

We’re going to have to pay him a lot of money.  We should start teaching him how to punt now, so when he gets 5M a year, he can be both our punter and kicker
