Stafford might suck

He’s always been average to mediocre to me. How many years did the lions have a top 5 defense and he still didn’t do anything. I remember Lions fans wanted him gone a long time ago

All games should be like Manning cast.

Informal and fun commentating.

Theyre ok. It's more like socially awkward silences interrupted with a some dry humor

We’ve been hearing this for 5 years and the Rams just keep on winning and competing.

I'm sure if the Bills just win and compete for the next few years you'll be the first to pat them on the back.

The reason teams shouldn't go all in on one Super Bowl year is that it's really hard even for the best team in the league to win the Super Bowl. It's a long season, injuries are bound to pop up, the team best suited to last long into the winter months wins it all more often than not. And yeah the Rams are going to start feeling the pain of no high draft picks. They have intentionally limited their window. I believe the Bills will be in their window as long as Allen is the QB, just a matter of Beane hitting on enough picks to keep a good eam around him.

"For a team that has spent so many future resources..." what does this statement have to do with the Bills? They have three day 3 draft picks next year, that's it. Their moves signal they are trying to win a Super Bowl over the next 2 years, if they don't they are in trouble. The Bills have taken the exact opposite approach.

Plus don't forget they are tight to the cap next year and have a bunch of these high dollar players going to FA.

All in on one year? But you just said they have two years left. And they made the Super Bowl 3 years ago. So how are they intentionally limiting their window?

Most teams would kill for a 5-7 year Super Bowl window. I would.

I am a bit confused about this 5-7 year supposed SB window.

They lost the SB in 2018 and that was the last time they won their division.

They have won 1 playoff game since then.

Have the Rams been a regular Super Bowl contender since hiring Sean McVay?

Trading for Von Miller on the last year of his contract is an all-in this year move. It made no sense. I doubt they can afford him next year. They have about $6 million in cap space in 2022. At least they won't have to worry about signing draft picks. That's a plus.

I originally said 2 years because Stafford becomes a free agent after next season and he'll be 35 at that point. That's a 2 year window to win with non-elite QB play and from there it gets worse. By then they will have a serious lack of depth and more contracts coming due. It's a very weird strategy.
