Bills backed up here, need to at the very least get a few first downs, give the defense a rest and shift field position at a minimum. But points on this drive even a FG would be a nice momentum shift.

I mean it didn't look on purpose but besides that could of just been them trying to get us to jump before punting from a better distance.

Looked like they snapped it as if they were going to run a play before hearing the whistle but who knows.

I don't think this team should be running up the middle, I like the toss plays and outside runs. The interior O-line is not the strength of this team. Stretch and toss plays would make sense to me?

They absolutely can. NFL refs don't seem to ever consider the spirit of the rules: to prevent unfair advantages. Unless it's a personal foul, don't bother calling stupid penalties that have no effect on the play. Same with that first OPI on the Jets. The refs don't seem to he taking into account uncatchable balls this year. It was barely a push-off and it was an uncatchable ball. It's just nonsensical officiating.

An easy way to clean up some of the penalty issues plaguing the NFL is to instruct the refs to only call penalties when they actually affect the play. It will speed up the game.
