dpberr Posted November 12, 2021 Posted November 12, 2021 (edited) Yellowstone is the television show on Paramount. Kevin Costner is the star. Three seasons total, with the fourth just beginning this month. I was late to the Yellowstone party - I had heard more and more people talking about the show. My initial opinion of it was that it was a Hallmark network-esque generic western, but I was quite mistaken after deciding to watch Season 3. It's been quite a find. The Poojer Posted November 12, 2021 Posted November 12, 2021 thanks for your feedback, i've been meaning to start watching, this will give that added push to begin Quote
Johnny Hammersticks Posted November 12, 2021 Posted November 12, 2021 I think I watched most of the first season and then gave up. Not bad, but just a little too much like a soap opera for my taste. The wife still watches on nights when I am watching sports. Seemed like a good show and I would recommend that folks try it out. Just not my cup o’ tea. Quote

I haven't watched it but have also heard good things. Quote

As an every episode start to finish, yeah. I watched the premier and finale of Season 1, and a few of the tail end of Season 2. To me, it's a "western" Sons of Anarchy. The Dutton family is SOA, the Indian/casino interests are the Mayans, and you have various bad guys/groups that roll in and out of the story arc. 1 Quote

Sundancer Posted November 13, 2021 Posted November 13, 2021 It’s Who shot JR Dallas set in Montana. Beautiful scenery and basically a better than average soap. My wife and I watch if we’ve got nothing else in the hopper. Quote
Max Fischer Posted November 13, 2021 Posted November 13, 2021 I tried, I wanted to like it, but to me, it’s a formulaic soap opera on a ranch. Quote

BillsPride12 Posted November 18, 2021 Posted November 18, 2021 Been hearing more and more hype about this show but nothing about it interests me personally. Having a hard time even making an effort to give it a shot. Quote
BuffaloBill Posted November 22, 2021 Posted November 22, 2021 Wife and I have watched it - love the scenery - does have some pretty graphic brutality and sex scenes. Quote

It’s definitely not the greatest show ever made but I’m certainly intrigued to keep watching 1 Quote
AlCowlingsTaxiService Posted November 25, 2021 Posted November 25, 2021 It has its moments, and most of the cast is top notch, but it has long lulls with little plot development that seem more like a country & western fashion show. Quote
Talley56 Posted November 27, 2021 Posted November 27, 2021 I watch this show and it is pretty good. However, I'm confused as to how to watch past episode 1 of season 4. At first I was told Paramount Plus. So I got a free trial of Paramount Plus. Then I hear Paramount Network, so I download Paramount Network. Apparently, you can only watch the first episode on Paramount Network and the rest of the episodes have a lock on them. So I'm confused. I thought I heard something about getting Fubo but I don't want to keep signing up for new networks only to find out that one doesn't work again. Unless someone can give me a simple solution where I'm not signing up for something new yet again I'm just going to wait until it becomes more available to watch the rest of season 4. I think I heard it will eventually be available on Paramount Plus. Quote
