Is the #1 seed that big of a deal anymore?

In the off-season when the focus was KC KC KC it was talked about how we’d need the #1 so we don’t have travel to KC, but since KC has taken a step back and there really isn’t a dominant AFC Team is the #1 seed really that big of a deal anymore?

It is both the bye and the home field. Do we really want play an extra game that could very likely be against a team like PIT, CLE or even KC?

Of course it is. You get a week off while the others beat the crap out of each other. Plus home field throughout doesn't hurt.

Yes, it is a big deal.  Having to win 2 games is a lot easier than winning 3 games.  Its that simple to understand.  However at this point, the Bills just need to concentrate on winning the division.  Losing last week likely knocks them out of the 1 seed.  Last week was the week they could have gained ground.  Now they stayed in place with some and lost ground with others.

Bye would be big. More worried about the offense then a bye right now. Been saying all year they haven’t played their best football yet, at this point I’m not sure if we have seen their best already.

Having WC weekend off is huge as you play one less playoff game. Also it gives players an extra week off to heal from any injuries. Plus the Bills at home in the playoffs is a much better chance at winning then them being on the road.

I get that it’s big to have the #1 seed……the way the AFC is this year I don’t thinks it’s doom and gloom if we don’t.
