streetkings01 Posted November 11, 2021 Posted November 11, 2021 In the off-season when the focus was KC KC KC it was talked about how we’d need the #1 so we don’t have travel to KC, but since KC has taken a step back and there really isn’t a dominant AFC Team is the #1 seed really that big of a deal anymore? 4 1 1 1 Quote
Sugar High JA17 Posted November 11, 2021 Posted November 11, 2021 Its huge imo, refer to last year. This year bigger deal with a full packed Stadium 1 Quote
ngbills Posted November 11, 2021 Posted November 11, 2021 It is both the bye and the home field. Do we really want play an extra game that could very likely be against a team like PIT, CLE or even KC? 1 Quote
LABILLBACKER Posted November 11, 2021 Posted November 11, 2021 Of course it is. You get a week off while the others beat the crap out of each other. Plus home field throughout doesn't hurt. 1 1 Quote
Scott7975 Posted November 11, 2021 Posted November 11, 2021 (edited) Yes, it is a big deal. Having to win 2 games is a lot easier than winning 3 games. Its that simple to understand. However at this point, the Bills just need to concentrate on winning the division. Losing last week likely knocks them out of the 1 seed. Last week was the week they could have gained ground. Now they stayed in place with some and lost ground with others. Edited November 11, 2021 by Scott7975 2 Quote
billsfanmiamioh Posted November 11, 2021 Posted November 11, 2021 Wish there was still only 6 playoff teams and top two got a bye. 2 5 Quote
BananaB Posted November 11, 2021 Posted November 11, 2021 Bye would be big. More worried about the offense then a bye right now. Been saying all year they haven’t played their best football yet, at this point I’m not sure if we have seen their best already. 1 Quote
stevestojan Posted November 11, 2021 Posted November 11, 2021 The real question is: Is there a bigger deal than the 1 seed? 1 Quote
Greg S Posted November 11, 2021 Posted November 11, 2021 Having WC weekend off is huge as you play one less playoff game. Also it gives players an extra week off to heal from any injuries. Plus the Bills at home in the playoffs is a much better chance at winning then them being on the road. 1 Quote
nedboy7 Posted November 11, 2021 Posted November 11, 2021 I heard even getting into the playoffs is not that big a deal anymore. 1 Quote
streetkings01 Posted November 11, 2021 Author Posted November 11, 2021 I get that it’s big to have the #1 seed……the way the AFC is this year I don’t thinks it’s doom and gloom if we don’t. 1 Quote
Son of a K-Gun Posted November 11, 2021 Posted November 11, 2021 The playoff bye is especially nice for a team that had their bye in week 7. 2 Quote
QCity Posted November 11, 2021 Posted November 11, 2021 Is winning even that big of a deal anymore? 1 Quote
