I have listened to almost all of his pressers this year and he sounded exactly how I expected him to sound. Which is one of the reasons I believe he will eventually get this team to where he wants them to be. 2 Quote

Tony P Posted November 10, 2021 Posted November 10, 2021 I listened and think he was pretty upfront and candid TBH. He frankly stated that he expected the run game to be further along by now. On a related note: I listen to PCs from a couple other teams now and then and I don't understand why the Bills can't figure our how to have the reporters' questions be more audible. Other teams seem to have this figured out. 2 1 1 Quote

Because I didn't hear any of this... 2 1 Quote

You should be accorded all the credit you deserve for this take. I don't think he sounded beat up at all. If you didn't "waste the time" to listen to it, again, how do you reach this conclusion about how he sounded? If you did listen to it, Bad Take IMHO If I didn't listen how would I feel that he sound beat up and it was depressing, you think I just guessed? Regardless, I obviously disagree it is a "Bad Take". It feels like McDermott is going to take the reigns more on offense and he's going to make a concerted effort to run more. But was this Press Conference any different than the usual? Not really, nothing specific. There is nowhere to turn on the offensive line personnel, and I don't think Gilliam can provide anything as a fullback, so I expect it to look pretty ineffective actually. With all the $ they spend and the slick presentations they have done since the Pegula's arrived, it is perplexing they cant figure it out/fix it. I have wasted a lot of time going back on some of these videos and try to turn up the volume when the questions are asked or end up guessing as to what or who they are talking about. Quote

SoCal Deek Posted November 10, 2021 Posted November 10, 2021 Everyone has a plan until they get punched in the face. This Team needs to grow up fast! Too much clowning around during the week. Too much sitting around during the game on the sideline. This is way less about skill level and way more about heart and desire. The Bills roster is head and shoulders above the Jaguars and yet, if you include the first half of the Miami game, the Bills have now been sleepwalking for seven out of eight quarters since the Bye Week. Unacceptable. Fix it, Coach! 1 1 Quote

I really think the team themselves underestimated the grit, work, and fight mentality needed after they lost to the Titans. They beat Miami and everyone was back to saying they were the best team in the AFC etc.. and they didn't even play that well or spirited that day. Since KC they look like a team that just feels they deserve to win as opposed to earning it. Quote
First Round Bust Posted November 10, 2021 Posted November 10, 2021 looked up PFF stats - Dawkins has 7 penalties tied for second most in the league - he and Morse are our highest rated OL - with grades in the 60s - with Brown next with Feliciano who has not given up a sack. Teller grades in the high 80s. Quote

I'm honestly not sure if Coach McD has it in him. I know that Coach Frasier doesn't, and Daboll don't appear to be the fire-lighting type. Someone needs to peel the paint off the locker room walls. Not anywhere near enough urgency from this Team right now. Quote

Coach Tuesday Posted November 10, 2021 Posted November 10, 2021 Good PC - he is clearly displeased with his offensive coaches (Daboll and Johnson), and he came as close as he'll ever come to calling out an individual player (Dawkins). 4 Quote

That should have been the "wake up" call to them team, to not play well against a division opponent and let them stay in the game till Q4. 1 Quote

It's actually (by what they said) made that way on purpose at the request of the reporters because they don't want the other reporters to steal their "intellectual property" and report it on their own sites. The Steelers, Phins, & Jags games all had a common theme of a team that under estimated their opposition and thought they would just win because they are talented. I agree I thought the Phins game would've got the offense to say "crap we really need to tighten up" but it didn't. 1 Quote
