Governor Posted November 10, 2021 Posted November 10, 2021 (edited) We’re probably 6 or 7 as far as talent. Bucs, Steelers, Rams, Cardinals, Cowboys, all have much more talent on that side of the ball. We have Josh and Diggs. That’s it. Beasley is totally shot. Sanders is old. Knox is young. The line is awful. The RB’s are slugs. Where is the talent you speak of? We definitely have an overpaid offense. Edited November 10, 2021 by Governor Quote

That's No Moon Posted November 10, 2021 Posted November 10, 2021 Also known as the lies we tell ourselves. I'd take Dallas' offense lock stock and barrel tomorrow. 1 Quote
Giuseppe Tognarelli Posted November 10, 2021 Posted November 10, 2021 The Bills do not have the best offensive personnel in the NFL. It's not even remotely close. Quote
Chicken Boo Posted November 10, 2021 Posted November 10, 2021 This team needs balance. Acquiring Jeff Wilson Jr should be a top priority in 2022. Quote
Straight Hucklebuck Posted November 12, 2021 Posted November 12, 2021 Rams have Henderson, Woods, Kupp, Beckham and a 12-year #1 overall vet QB. The Bucs have the best QB ever, and (3) HOF pass catchers and another great WR. Josh is awesome, but our weapons are not the best in the league. Quote

I think he was being sarcastic lol but I came in here for this convo…strictly skill position we could be close to 1 but if you factor in the guys in the trenches we slip a bit. Sanders is old but playing well when we can block long enough to throw him the ball. Knox was having a breakout season now that he learned how to catch the ball lol all we need is the offensive line to not be god awful cuz josh is a wizard at buying himself time…unfortunately they have frequently been god awful lol 20 minutes ago, SlimShady'sSpaceForce said: The Bucs OBJ may be talented but when has he produced BIG time? Yea rams can’t seem to figure out how to get anyone else the ball not named Kupp or woods…I don’t expect Odell to change anything. We’ve gotten some nice production from gabe Davis at times. Maybe not number 1 in overall offensive weapons but we may be deeper at wr than anyone. And our qb is close to 1 in games where he doesn’t press too hard to carry the team because his offensive line forgets how to play. Brady would’ve gotten obliterated in that jags game Edited November 12, 2021 by Generic_Bills_Fan 1 1 Quote
BigAl2526 Posted November 12, 2021 Posted November 12, 2021 I think the Bills have enough talent to have an explosive offense. There is also room for improvement. Some of what happened last Sunday is probably on Daboll, though certainly not all of it. When there is a massive failure like last Sunday, there is going to be plenty of blame to spread around. Josh Allen made errors. The offensive line blocked poorly and committed a bunch of unnecessary penalties. The WRs dropped more balls than usual. 1 Quote

Now, they were really good in 2019. Honestly, a superb unit. Then they added Diggs and by gosh, #2 offense last year. #1 offense this year. But the real reason they are so great is because they have a terrible, lousy, no good offensive coordinator. Can you imagine how good Cody Ford would be with a “real” OC? I mean honestly. We would be the #1 offense by a MILE if we had a competent OC. Josh would go from being a really great player to an unholy fusion of Randall Cunningham and Tom Brady. Devin Singletary would be Barry Sanders, but a Barry Sanders who smiles in photos. It’s truly incredible. Once we fire this crappy OC who sucks, and is always the reason we lose, or don’t score or don’t convert a first down, just imagine how good we would be. #1 offense WITH Daboll? Just think about what we could do with a guy like Curt Modkins. Thanks for the laugh Quote
