Bubba Gump Posted November 9, 2021 Posted November 9, 2021 Referee Tony Corrente backs into the Bears player leaving the field and throws a flag for taunting. Absolute garbage call. They were calling bogus penalties all night on the Bears. This is what the NFL has come to. Officials deciding the outcome of games is becoming more apparent by the week. Legal gambling playing a role?? 1 1 1 Quote

Legal gambling playing a role?? I've said this for years and have gotten chastised and laughed at. He had his hand on the flag while he backed into him... disgraceful Edited November 9, 2021 by Sherlock Holmes 6 2 Quote
Southern_Bills Posted November 9, 2021 Posted November 9, 2021 The guy walked toward the steelers sideline eyeballing them. I don't believe the "bump" factored in. I agree the call should have not been made but the bears player wasn't innocent, with the emphasis on taunting he should have just played it safe. 4 2 5 1 2 5 Quote
LABILLBACKER Posted November 9, 2021 Posted November 9, 2021 The top Blue Blood teams will always be taken care of by this league. That's the way it's always been. Nothing has changed. 3 1 Quote
Southern_Bills Posted November 9, 2021 Posted November 9, 2021 Clearly the man is taunting the sideline, I believe trash talk should be legal at all levels, but this is not out of the blue. They have been preaching it since preseason. 2 1 1 2 2 Quote

And Marsh wasn't saying anything to their bench, just looking at them. It was pure BS. 1 2 Quote

Legal gambling playing a role?? You act like Corrente has ever made suspicious calls against the Bills…oh wait, he did in Houston on the kickoff recovery in the end zone 🙄 2 1 1 Quote
LeGOATski Posted November 9, 2021 Posted November 9, 2021 This is the Houston playoff game guy who called the end zone fumble correctly and then was overturned by the Men in Black, right? 2 1 Quote

That was intentional and makes the whole thing awkward. 1 Quote

SCBills Posted November 9, 2021 Posted November 9, 2021 (edited) Noticing more and more people call out officiating this year. It’s bad, and more than just the typical “refs hate us” fans are talking about it. Edited November 9, 2021 by SCBills 3 Quote

Yeah, alot of bad calls on the bears tonight, I just honestly think that taunting with the emphasis this year was the right call. 1 1 1 1 Quote
clayboy54 Posted November 9, 2021 Posted November 9, 2021 Look no farther than this exact play to see that the NFL is now fixed to benefit what the money wants to see. I thought is was bad before, but nothing compares to the blatant corruption in 2021. This is what the USA has become. 5 1 Quote

Watch it in slow motion. You see the ref look at him, orient his body that way, then increase speed. What he was hoping to accomplish is a mystery. A hip check? And SVP chanting "it didn't affect the outcome of the game," is getting creepy. He's said it 5 times in 10 minutes. Superliminal messaging? Edited November 9, 2021 by benderbender 4 Quote

Do you not remember the infamous Seattle Pittsburgh SB. The league will always take care of its favorite blue blood organizations. And those that ignore it are just naive. 4 1 1 Quote
