Chaos Posted November 9, 2021 Posted November 9, 2021 This years Bills are making me bipolar. Sunday morning my team is "the most complete team in the NFL" "Super Bowl Winning favorite" . Sunday evening they are the team that lost to to one of the worst teams in the league. My primary concern is that the Titans played a very physical game against us. And it paid dividends. And teams learned from that. The Jaguars from the first play tried to rile the Bills by tough hard and borderline dirty play against us. And we bit. The first Jaguars drive seems like it had 70 yards of frustration penalties against us. Then the online got embarrassingly pushed around. I am not intending to pick on Tremaine Edmunds in particular. But he is the leader of the defense, and the people who love his game point out that he is some sort of finesse and skill player not a "smash mouth" MLB. We are a finesse team, and other teams can't out finesse us, so they will try to bully us. And we do not seem to be responding well. Quote
SCBills Posted November 9, 2021 Posted November 9, 2021 (edited) Everything relates back to the OL. They are the primary reason in two losses and they certainly didn’t help in the third. We’re a top notch fighter who has a bad leg. It’s a clear weakness opponents go after and it affects everything.. our balance, our power and our game-plan. Edited November 9, 2021 by SCBills Quote
Dr.Sack Posted November 9, 2021 Posted November 9, 2021 #49 helps anchor a defense that leads the NFL in lowest points allowed. No way anyone on the defense should be getting dragged for yesterday’s performance. This is about the offense. 3 1 Quote
MJS Posted November 9, 2021 Posted November 9, 2021 What exactly could the defense have done more for you? They gave up 9 points. 9!! Even after the offense turned the ball over three times and continually failed to keep up their end of the bargain. 1 1 Quote
billsfan1959 Posted November 9, 2021 Posted November 9, 2021 Ummm... they actually dominated stretches of the Titans game and probably should have won it... Quote

Stop dicking around and cut Ford. Tell Bobby Johnson he's on thin ice. I swear to God next spring we better acquire 5-6 new olineman by FA &/or draft. I know Daboll sucks but his hands are tied with this disgraceful OL. Quote

K-9 Posted November 9, 2021 Posted November 9, 2021 I’m sorry, but that Tennessee “template” ended up being one yard short of that Tennessee “Back to the Drawing Board.” 1 1 Quote

Never thought 6’6” to 6’8” 305+ guys would be considered finesse. Doesn’t this speak more to a lack of coaching and player development? 1 Quote
