Somewhere I picture Simon and hapless and chandler smiling like Oprah reading some of these hot takes “you get a ban, and you get a ban, and a ban for you” But look at the LIFE this losing has brought back to the board! Frankly, TBD had been getting pretty boring and full of COVID threads because it was the only thing to talk about. Now we are back to having real football related discussions about which coach to fire, which players to cut, which players to sign/draft, what this team needs to win, offensive schemes and gameplans. Losing is good for the board, lol 1 2 1 1 Quote

You know… beside the Bills unfortunately i love the Knicks also… so i’m used to this type of performance, no hearth and no respect for the best fans in the world at all ! 5-3 … com’on… i’m sure that the same Bills with Mike Tomlin at the head would be 7-1 just because his grit. I posted this in the song thread, but it seems appropriate here as well …. Maybe I’ll post it in all the Jacksonville threads 🤪 1 Quote

Mat68 Posted November 8, 2021 Posted November 8, 2021 Daboll has had freedom to do whatever on offense. Last year Mcdermott took over play calling for a game. Im curious how involved Mcdermott will be on offense this week. I felt like after week 1 Mcdermott forced some change on offense. Quote

Did he have to give that back? 🤔 I think he left it running behind the Tim Horton’s he said he always stopped at on his way in to the office? Of course. Can we bounce back? Of course. Do we still control our divisional fate? Of course. So let’s see if this coaching staff can continue to earn their checks this week and make necessary changes…cool? He's earned disdain for this successful team showing up undisciplined and lacking energy and a refuse to lose mentality. A bunch of turnstiles for O-lineman and poor playcalling, doesn't deserve a pass. This fan base deserves better. Quote

Even McD's clapping game has been lackluster this year, i need to see some real vigorous aggressive clapping again soon or it's definately time to throw the towel on the season.. Quote

Isn't it McD's job to make sure the Bills want it more and have the Bills more ready to play ??? Exactly. On the one hand, there's only so much motivating of a bunch of highly-paid professional athletes a coach can do. I think it's kind of like parenting a stubborn teenager in a way. McDermott can say "everything is earned, nothing is given". He can tell them "if you go in there expecting to win in the NFL, you're gonna get your ass whipped". But eventually, they're going to be like "yeah, yeah" and need to actually suffer going in there expecting to win and getting their ass whipped in order to take him seriously. The coaches do need to look at whether some of their actions in how they prepare and their attention to detail that week are "tells" to the players that the coaches aren't too worried about the game and they can slack off. IMO. 2 Quote

Isn't it McD's job to make sure the Bills want it more and have the Bills more ready to play ??? I agree with you here.. and Josh said the same thing to in his post interview.. So unless they dont mean what they say, why are they being out motivated by a team that is already all but out of the running with only pride to play for? Over the past few weeks, they have been smacked in the mouth by the Titans and then one half by Miami and they still dont turn up and respect an opponent and expect to just go through the motions and coast to a W.. Bad signs here... 1 Quote

No, you're not sure. What you have there is a guess or an opinion, and one without any degree of substantiation or reasonable evidence. And by the way, the Steelers played flat and badly most of the first month of the season. Tomlin's damn good, but not perfect. Same with McDermott. 17 hours ago, Italian Bills said: I agree. It’s ok have the back of your staff and players.. but sometimes you have to make very clear what you don’t want to see anymore. And your evidence that he hasn't done that is non-existent. Entirely imaginary, as a matter of fact. Edited November 9, 2021 by Thurman#1 1 Quote

One of those two should have been cut and replaced Sorry i have watched i lot of football and i have seen good RB's get yards behind average to below average line, neither player scares anyone and they are just dropping LB'S in coverage knowing those two dudes are not getting past the line I'm sure you have seen good RBs get yards behind average to below average lines. That's what you're seeing in Buffalo right now. Singletary's averaging 4.9 YPC, and while Moss is lower, he's still making yards. Yes, they're not breakaway threats. But both are solid guys. And Beane certainly did upgrade the roster since losing to the Chiefs. Rousseau, Emanuel Sanders and Brown, for three, say hello. He didn't upgrade them in every area, which in our cap situation was just simply the way it had to be. Quote
