Maine-iac
Someone give Henry 6 carries a game behind our line and see how long he stays in the conversation for pro bowl or MVP. Hell if Robinson plays yesterday he probably joins Damien Harris and Aaron Jones and Herderson Jr as one of four rbs in the top ten ( so not counting Lamar Jackson) in yardage. All 5th round picks or later. James Connor is tied with Henry at 10tds. He was 3rd round pick 105. Most RB's are products of the teams and offenses they play on and are rather interchangeable. There are good ones and not so good ones but largely production will be dictated by game plan over the season and dedication to the run over the season. We simply have no dedication to the run. Not in the front office, not in the game plan, and not in the game time coaching. There is no doubt in my mind our rb's could run the ball on any other team and like I said any back on any list would not be doing much with our current commitment to running the ball. What is truly biting us in the behind is that when you go all in on the pass you better have a line that can at least pass block and with the current injuries that is the question. I haven't given up on him by any means. I don't disagree that he could be moved to the slot........but for reference.........Christian McCaffrey has already had 400 more regular season touches (1088) in his brief NFL career than Julian Edelman (678) had in his long career. Cole Beasley has just over 500 for his entire career. I think McCaffrey could have been targeted 130x per season in the slot and caught 100+ per year at 12-13 yards per clip and done that for a decade plus. Elite pass receiving RB's are only good for 8-9 yards per grab. This is why base defense is nickel and the "scat-back/3rd down back/"Cluster McFuxter" back" largely disappeared. https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/M/McClDe00.htm

LABILLBACKER
I guess the lesson we didn't learn is solidity your OL first before you go Christmas shopping for RB's. Ford and Feliciano will 100% be gone after this season. And we have a decision to make on Dawkins & Williams longevity?? Way too early to project Spencer. Call_Of_Ktulu
I am a believer of your starting RB getting majority of the carries and being able to feel out and wear down opposing defenses. Thurman Thomas would be breaking records right now with the way the NFL is being played. Thurman would be a better version of Kamara. 5 hours ago, teef said: i will fight everyone in this thread!
