the bills have a better quarterback but the patriots have a much better team and coach. I fully expect Buffalo to miss the playoffs this year and regroup in the off season to build the offeive f line and run game. next year will be the legitimate Super Bowl run.

The crazy ***** that goes on when this team loses. It's disgusting honestly and people turn into #######s on this forum during the week.

You can go ahead and think they are a threat.

Don't get angry that everyone isn't afraid of the Pats. People become Dbags when someone isn't afraid of a team and that is what you are showing.

Nobody should be afraid of the Pats as they aren't the Brady led Pats but they are a good team. NE is very much in the mix for the division. Those 2 games against them will decide a lot.

We can hate them all we want but that is a good organization. Coaching is excellent. Never once have I seen them trot out an O-line as pathetic as what the Bills did yesterday - and with a few exceptions, mid to late round guys. I like Jones. I don’t agree that he is Joe Burrow good, but he can execute that offence. He is prolly more than just a game manager. The key when playing them is to stop the run. Our secondary should be able to handle their passing game.
With our O line issues I shudder to think what Judon will do to Josh.

Yeah the Jags DL, which is below average, lived in the Bills backfield yesterday.  I'll say it again, we have an OL who managed to stay upright and not get their jerseys dirty all game long, and a franchise QB who looks like he went through a meat grinder.  For whatever reason the OL is playing badly, with no passion, and seemingly no regard for Allen's well being.

Right now I'm worried about the Jets game, which i can't believe the Bills are favored by as much as they are, but as things stand now, the Bills are going to be underdogs to the Pats, and deservedly so

The Pats play the sort of disciplined football that this current iteration of the Bills just can't figure out.  A good friend of mine is a Pats fan, and in fact worked for the team for years.  He's as sober as they come when it comes to football analysis and is way out on top of our pick 6 league.  he watched the Bills the last few weeks and said there's a cancer on that team that nobody is talking about but you can see it on the field.  At first I told him he was crazy but not, not so sure!

Who did he say the cancer was?

I'll buy the better coach part. As much as we all despise Belichick more than the plague, he is a better in-game/strategic coach than McDermott ever will be. Plus, is there any chance Beane realized his offense this year was good but not Super Bowl winning quality? Roll the dice on your SB quality defense and hope the offense may come through this year. If he truly thought this is the year, you overpay for the needed OL help at the trade deadline vs. saving picks to bolster your roster for your shot next year.

The Bills are not missing the playoffs, and the Patriots are not winning the division.   Everyone will be back on the band wagon when 2/5th of the offensive line is healthy again, Knox is back, and Cole Beasley isnt playing with beat up ribs.

I sincerely hope you guys dont live your real lives like you do your Bills fandom.   A little adversity and its possum time.

??? - the Bills have to play them twice and pretty soon. And they are in our division. The team needs to focus on the Jets now, but last I checked neither you nor I is in on the team.

Why?

Well better do it and stop with the games at practice. Because they have over looked the last 2 teams they played

The Pats are coming for Buffalo...but the Browns, Ravens are coming for the SuperBowl.  Teams that can run the ball are going to be successful in Jan/Feb.  I'd say Tennessee too but that Henry injury hurts.  They have a tough, physical Oline so they might still be able to run the ball effectively enough.

Funny thread, truly... We play the Jets (win) and they go to Cleveland to play a motivated Browns team that has more talent than them.

A week from today we will all laugh at this thread.

They will threaten the division right to week 16 or 17, but we'll win it and have a home playoff game.  Book it.

You keep repeating that to yourself...

And you keep hating the Bills while being on this forum. You hate the Bills even when they win.

I think the Bills hold them off…

But after that though I’m not as confident as I was a couple of weeks back that they can do any damage in the playoffs …

Also remember when pretty much the whole off season a lot of people here were fretting about how they had to build a team to beat the Chiefs?

To worry about only one team is pretty short sighted..

I have a very bad feeling about this Pats team, which like the Bills has an elite defense. But they have an offense is far more effectively multiple than the Bills. And Mac Jones is for real. The evidence is in: he is already a pretty good QB and arguably even a good one (with no qualifications).

Pats** are a major concern particularly because we are not holding up our side of the bargain. If the Titans game did not raise red flags, yesterday's game showed them in full glory. One consistent personality if Belichick coached teams is that they play to their abilities and mask deficiencies. They maximize their potential and minimize penalties.

Clearly, we control our own destiny but right now things are not going well as yesterday's game came after the Titans loss and anemic offense in the first half of the Dolphins game.

In what world is Mac Jones anywhere near as good as Joe Burrow? Jones checks down an insane amount and hasn't proved that he can take over the game. That statement is insane.

He throws a very impressive 3 yard pass.
