Daboll hasn’t been the same since losing both grandparents, we need to understand there are things going on that would cause anyone to be challenged at work. We need to be patient and let him work out of this funk.

He's been off before he lost his grandparents IMO.

Goes back to the chiefs game last afc championship game

Why don’t we run McKenzie jet sweep anymore? Last year we ran it almost every game. I feel like offense less creative this year and more conservative? Maybe bc the poor O line play?

Yeah, I was looking at the team’s stats yesterday and was surprised to see he had only 3 rushing attempts.

I'm glad other people are saying the samething I've been saying/thinking about the sweeps.

What's also interesting is against KC, the offense looked completely different with the type of plays, etc then it did at any point this year.

It's all very confusing. This is/was the top scoring offense in the league going into today, right? However I would argue the offense just hasn't looked/felt right all year. Like it seems so much gets left on the table each game, even the big "blowout" wins they've had.

Sometimes his sweeps are considered passes though. Something to keep in mind. 🙂

That is true but he also has only 4 receptions.

They may have decided that Roberts wasn’t worth keeping around as a return specialist for the money he wanted but it doesn’t make sense when you then stop using an offensive weapon because you moved him into that role. The lowly Texans though came to the same realization with Roberts when he wasn’t producing at an All-Pro level.

are the bills just trying to get to the playoffs to open up the play book a bit more/ keep guys as healthy as possible?

This season has seen a drop in pre snap motions and any sort of slant passes/crossing routes over the middle

If the plan is to keep people as healthy as possible it’s not working

I disagree...if dabol cant perform his job up to the expectations then maybe he needs to take a leave of absence

I said this towards the end of the year last year going into the playoffs.  I thought that McKenzie motion was a staple of the offense that just kinda went away and I didn't understand why.  It's like Daboll's just let go of his creativity.

Peak Qb play is a narcotic to OCs imo.  They come up with all these check with me and routes.  Basically,  Allen here is a play do A vs B, C vs D, E vs G etc…. All good but 10 other guys gotta be on the same field and be on the same page.

All the creativity to get an easy 10 yards are gone.  Rodgers did this with Green bay for years with McCarthy.  Bland play calls but more often than not he makes it work.  Daboll is falling down that hole.  Allen can do anything and make the should be bad plays good.

I completely agree. At some point they need to just let the players, play. Even if its just the window dressing, of him going in motion. They can do it say 10 times a game, and only give it to 2 or 3 times and it would still really help the offense in my opinion.
