Ethan in Cleveland Posted November 8, 2021 Posted November 8, 2021 I'd advocate trying the following O-line for a few series at least and see what happens. LT - Brown LG - Dawkins C - Morse RG - Boettger RT - Williams There is no PS player that is going to save this situation. What do you all think of this idea. Williams is a much better RT than a guard. Brown looks capable of playing OT in the NFL. Dawkins is good but not elite at LT. The current guards are turnstiles and can't move or block anyone. Morse is what he is. He's solidly above average pass blocker and poor run blocker. Ford is just a massive bust. Bates is a tease. He is probably not capable of playing any position for any length of time but he is a good game-day injury option that can back-up all five spots. 3 1 2 Quote
BillsFan130 Posted November 8, 2021 Posted November 8, 2021 There unfortunately isn't a fix . I think sadly the best option is: LT- Dawkins LG- Feliciano C- Morse RG- Williams RT- Brown. Not saying that's ideal, but I think it's their "best" option for this year. Need a big change in the off season. 5 Quote

Matt_In_NH Posted November 8, 2021 Posted November 8, 2021 Not sure what the advanced stats say but Dawkins has had a number of awful plays this year. Largely the same players last year created nice pockets for Josh for much of last year.....I am somewhat optimistic they can straighten things out some. Quote

MAJBobby Posted November 8, 2021 Posted November 8, 2021 The sooner Felciano Morse Wiliams are not starting the better Quote

He isn’t going to be healthy all year after his COVID. That is what is is. I know a lot of people want to ignore the issues he had with it and the weight loss and strength. Isn’t going to be himself again until next year. the other three don’t even need to be on this team Edited November 8, 2021 by MAJBobby 2 1 1 Quote
Rigotz Posted November 8, 2021 Posted November 8, 2021 Lets move our franchise left tackle to Center, put Tommy Sweeney at left tackle because he’s agile, put an injured Feliciano in at Center also, then flip Bottegar with Feliciano because position flexibility. Problem solved. 1 Quote

Aussie Joe Posted November 8, 2021 Posted November 8, 2021 (edited) I predict that Feliciano, Morse, Ford and Boettger are not on this team next year... Williams needs to improve to get paid $8m again next year... Edited November 8, 2021 by Aussie Joe Quote

Governor Posted November 8, 2021 Posted November 8, 2021 Now you guys are with me. Where were you 6 weeks ago when I got slaughtered on Reddit for saying the same thing? Lol. The Cover 1 guy shrieked in horror that someone could possibly say we needed a change at LT. Maybe that blind side hit today that almost ripped Josh in half will change his mind. Quote

It looks to me that he has not really recovered from his bout with Covid. I would give our other rookie T a shot at RT or Douglas and move Williams back inside once Brown comes back. But they have to shake it up; they can’t accept the level of play seen today. 1 Quote

I mean hell while you at it ask him why he keeps trotting ford out there Edited November 8, 2021 by MAJBobby Quote
