Wonder what the play could be. Toss sweep right to Breida for a 4 yard loss. Sorry, I should have clarified he can also run up the gut, but has the speed to take it to the outside. 🙄 Edited November 10, 2021 by Doc Quote

Mat68 Posted November 10, 2021 Posted November 10, 2021 If Moss is out he obviously is the next man up. What impact? Minimal. Maybe he make a big play on a check down but thats not who he is really. Maybe dressing Brieda they feel more comfortable using Mckenzie in the offense more. Brieda can handle kick return and Hyde do Punt return. Quote

However splitting carries with a guy under 4 ypc or suggesting that a guy that was good 4 years ago isn't gonna tell us anything about Motor. Maybe they should just...I dunno...GIVE THE RB THAT HAS OVER 5 YPC MORE OPPORTUNITY and not keep watering his production out with lesser or washed up backs. 1 Quote

He's not making good decisions. Another big problem with Allen has been his read option decisions. He's keeping the football a lot of times when he should give it to the RB. Allen’s ball security continues to be a problem as well. I believe teams are looking to strip the ball from him every chance they get, with a lot of success. Why he doesn’t hold the ball high and tight instead of in his bread basket confuses me Quote

I thought singletary made some nice plays in the passing game. Almost all of his catches were like at the LOS and he made some plays to get yards in space. 1 Quote
JoshAllin Posted November 10, 2021 Posted November 10, 2021 (edited) Yeah, as iffy as singletary has been in the passing game, he got them in bass's fg range before williams fell asleep at the line and wipes them out of fg range to tie the game atleast Edited November 10, 2021 by motorj Quote
LABILLBACKER Posted November 10, 2021 Posted November 10, 2021 When you stick 2 extremely mediocre RB's behind a terrible OL it probably won't matter who's back there. I screamed this all last year. Without a better run game, we Immediately became one dimensional. Teams have now figured out how to slow down both Josh & Mahomes. Finesse olineman won't cut it anymore. We need road graders. 3 minutes ago, motorj said: Yeah, as iffy as singletary has been in the passing game, he got them in bass's fg range before williams fell asleep at the line and wipes them out of fg range to tie the game atleast Was it me or did it not look like Daryl literally dosed off on that snap. 1 Quote

I guess when you have no apparent run attack and a guy you identified as an outside the tackles, speed back, who you have awarded a spot on your roster, one might think he would get some carries through 8 games. He blocks Williams from playing along with being inactive. Maybe I don't understand what modern day depth means. Quote

He had a few carries in the preseason and their not imaginative enough to get him some role. They play guys on the O-line who should be longshoreman and Breida, who I thought was productive in Miami, and he can't get a sniff. I'm sorry, maybe Beane is not as good as advertised. He whiffed on Ford, sent Teller away and wasted a pick on Basham when the need was O-line. 1 Quote

I didn’t think brieda looked good in miami. I loved him in SF though. He’s just a meh guy. A 3rd rb, who happens to be the only one on the roster with speed. Just so happens that he plays on a team that only dresses RBs (and one ST rb). Sucks for him and us. I’d like to see Breida and Williams get a shot, but they won’t do that to motor. He’s been improved, but still lacks that gear we need. I was hoping that we would’ve drafted a rb at some point. Kenneth Gainwell and Khalil Herbert are looking pretty good. I don’t think Basham is a waste. I think he’ll be a productive player for us. Just not this season. I would’ve preferred Creed Humphrey 💯 I would’ve preferred if we took Trey Smith in rd instead of Doyle or any of the 6th rounders we took. Those two dudes would’ve made our OL better. Instead, the picks were used on future potential. I just don’t think it was the right offseason to take that route. 👍🏻 I agree with ya man Quote
