Tua fractured finger and hurt. Won't play... Again...

Besides the fact this dude is just meh with no arm talent, the dude is always getting hurt and seems fragile.

Didn't want to start a new thread for this 1/2 hour before game time but just saw this:

 

Tua is out today with a broken finger suffered in Q2 against Bills.  Took him out twice this season!

Well if he was "normal handed" and had a broken finger on his left hand it wouldn't matter, would it? But no, he just HAD to try and be different. Another reason to say "NO" to left handed QBs.

Yeah, if he broke it in the second quarter of the Bills and played the rest of the game, then he showed some toughness.

That was just weird.  As was said during the game, if Tua is healthy enough to be a capable backup, wouldn't he be healthy enough to start?

 

Kudos to him that he played and got them the touches they needed to get for the W, but Man!  Watching those rainbows he puts up and some of the passes he throws, how the hell is he not intercepted more often?

Tua ended up getting the win but he looked very shaky.  He nearly fumbled and allowed Baltimore to take control of the game.  He was also very lucky to take advantage of a breakdown that resulted in wide open Gaskin.  Tua is a dude that’s easy to like but he’s a game manager at QB at his best

Either the Fins eventually trade for Watson or draft their next "potential" franchise QB. The Jets moved on from Darnold and I can see the Fins do the same with Tua.

I was thinking that. The rainbow throw seems to be the only way he can throw deep. There were a couple he went to the end zone with that I was convinced would be INT'd during the 30 minutes the ball was in the air

If it’s the long completion to Waddle, it looked he threw his entire arm into the pass…it traveled maybe 40 yards in the air.  I didn’t come away from this game being overly impressed with Tua.

stuck in qb hell this week with Burrow on bye. Pick up Tua. They tell me he won't start. Pick up Brissett, as he starts and someone is gonna score a few points on this Ravens pass d. Then Tua just randomly comes into the game. Like wtf, if he was healthy enough to start, why did you wait?
