YoloinOhio Posted November 7, 2021 Posted November 7, 2021 (edited) That’s it, Beane officially calls about everyone Quote The Ravens were one of five NFL teams that expressed varying levels of interest in Peterson, who led the league in rushing three different times. The others were the Raiders, Bills, Falconsand Dolphins. Edited November 7, 2021 by YoloinOhio Quote

nucci Posted November 7, 2021 Posted November 7, 2021 Looked in to signing someone doesn't mean he called or offered a contract. Like someone saying...."There's a chance the Bills may have considered signing Peterson". It means nothing 1 Quote
Ridgewaycynic2013 Posted November 7, 2021 Posted November 7, 2021 Heard at One Bills Drive: "J**** C*****, now those jackals at TSW are kvetching about checking on Peterson's availability! Hand me the phone, and check the CFL waiver wire!" 🤨 Quote
DJB Posted November 7, 2021 Posted November 7, 2021 I've heard of him. Fire Beane for not getting this done 1 Quote
Captain Hindsight Posted November 7, 2021 Posted November 7, 2021 Every NFL team has an “oh *****” list. Finding out one of the best RBs in NfL history, who actually played pretty well last season on a bad team, is a good thing Quote
SlimShady'sSpaceForce Posted November 7, 2021 Posted November 7, 2021 Not for nothing but I’d say the Bills look at every player 5 Quote
Straight Hucklebuck Posted November 7, 2021 Posted November 7, 2021 That’s the old McDermott Bills. Mike Tolbert, Chris Ivory, Frank Gore were all too old, and Adrian Peterson is beyond too old. 1 1 Quote
PonyBoy Posted November 7, 2021 Posted November 7, 2021 Peterson never played for Carolina, no chance we were signing him! 2 1 1 Quote

RobbRiddick Posted November 7, 2021 Posted November 7, 2021 Sounds like Peterson had to beat all these interested teams off with a stick 7 Quote

IMO, the Bills have one of the better pro personnel departments in the NFL Beane is always thinking about how to make this team better - from the smallest addition to a major addition - and they do their due diligence on all available players across the league. 2 Quote

billsbackto81 Posted November 7, 2021 Posted November 7, 2021 (edited) Although he's older AP is probably the closest comparable to Henry when it comes to speed and power. It might be a reach but maybe Beane probably wanted to keep him from Tennessee after Henry went down. Also maybe see if AP has any fumes left in the tank since we can't seem to convert 3rd and 1 running the ball. Edited November 7, 2021 by billsbackto81 Quote

(Probably is! 🤨) 1 Quote

Rc2catch Posted November 7, 2021 Posted November 7, 2021 Leave no stone unturned. In the event of injuries it’s smart to already have some bait in the water. A ballpark figure of expected salary as well. Quote
