So, for him to play to your expectations, how many of his extended, spectacular plays are you willing to forgo, so that Josh may “stop taking boneheaded sacks?”

And so far this season I can't think of a single sack of Allen that was "unnecessary".

Im talking specific football situations where he has cost us potential points, namely field goals.

He is one of the best at avoidin sacks. To me they can be separated.

well .. if you are going to get rid of the 47 yards of sacks he has taken this year .. you probably need to eliminate several hundred yards of positive play.

Tom Brady - 86

Kyler Murray - 157

Ryan "safe" Tannehill - 177

Lamar Jackson 107

Dak Prescott 56 in one less game

Bake "checkdown" Mayfield 128

Russ "cookin" Wilson 92

Just to repeat, nobody with over 3 games has less sack yards than Josh even though he extends play after play .. might want to look at it through that lens

So it's Carlos Hyde starting.  I can't believe he is 31 years old already.  Where does the time go?

Pretty big drop off from Robinson.

Forget stats. He absolutely has to stop taking boneheaded sacks.

And i love Josh and think he is great and will win us a super bowl. Ftr.

Perfectly exemplifies what’s wrong with the world now.

I have a preconceived feeling or thought in my head.

Excuse me, but here’s data to show that your view is not factually correct.

Forget the data and stats, I already know the answer.  And it’s what’s in my head and derived solely from the way I feel.

Per Gelber tweet above, JA has "only has 3 INT and 0 lost fumbles..."

Just to be pedantic, he's listed as 1 FL (per PFR, other sources). Charged w snap exchange v Pitt???

As I mentioned last wk, that's still 20/4; and in agreement w @RiotAct:

Rookie yr ToTD:ToTO = 1.17/g

This yr = .57/g !!!

I think it was the TJ watt strip sack. I also flagged that number as wrong.

I understand what you’re saying, but you’re not accounting for the fact at how often the data is skewed or just fraudulent. And people like you so quickly disregard any counter argument based on the almighty data.
