Our coaches are smart. They had to have learned from the Broncos debacle last year. I imagine they keep Josh and Mitch away from each other enough to not make them close contacts per the NFL code. Could be wrong, as I’m not 100% sure what all the rules are. But I have to imagine we will have Josh this week.

feel pretty confident (based on his past comments) Josh isn't vaxxed.

Webb could be starting vs. the Jets.   :o

I think Allen is vaccinated.

I don’t see him in a mask in any photos of him in the facility, which is a requirement of the unvaccinated.

I totally get that. I try to make the home opener every year, then pick at least one road game. Having been to Nashville 4 years in a row, an easy 4 hour drive from Atlanta and a city we like, that was an easy choice. But there is A LOT to be said for hitting different NFL cities and venues.

The wife spends a lot of time in NYC and I’d like to build in a Jets (or Giants) game some time just for the experience. A decent thread idea would be what cities would you like to hit, with poll, but I am FAR too lazy for that! I’d love to see a game in Denver with a nice downtown experience. I’ve been there on a game day but didn’t attend. KC is also appealing as they tailgate and the crowd feels a little like us. I’d better stop here so as not to derail things, but I get wanting different experiences.

Have fun in the Big Apple and hope you get to see Josh lead us to a victory!

I've been to Seattle(Kingdome and the current stadium), Oakland, KC, Pittsburgh(Three Rivers), Cincinnati, Green Bay, Chicago, Minn(metrodome), Cleveland(Municipal stadium?), Detroit(Silverdome), Jax, Carolina, LA Rams(Collisuem), LA Chargers (in the soccer stadium), Denver(new stadium), Arizona (SunDevil stadium and the current retractable dome), New Orleans, and Indianapolis (Hoosier Dome).  I have been to several of these multiple times.

All those AFC East games and this will be my first road trip. I never saw Brady play in New England - but I have been to Boston many times for Celtics/Red Sox.  I have no desire to go to Miami.  Must admit Green Bay was a bit of a let down but it may have been how badly the Bills played that day.

My top 3 to still see at this point would be - Dallas, LA, and maybe Baltimore.  If I get the chance going back to Detroit, Cleveland, and Pittsburgh would be good too.

If that was GB like 4-5 years ago, that was disappointing. Just a bad day, I thought. I did enjoy seeing a stadium in the middle of a residential neighborhood. It was unique and the kind of thing I enjoy seeing. I’ve been to quite a few of those sites, but not quite as many as you have seen.

I have no great desire to visit Jerry World. I’d much rather see Vegas or LA for new mega-stadiums. I’m just a bit tired of the Jerry show and all Cowboys, all the time.

Son and DIL will be in FL a couple weeks before Christmas to be with her family (Sarasota, where we used to live). Wanted game tix for Bills/Bucs 12/12, but they were pricey for people who just bought their first house. Gave up, but made a phone call to a friend working at a major corporation. Snagged a couple seats on the 50 behind the Bills bench about 20 rows up. Stubhub had those seats north of $900 each. Merry Christmas!

Sorry for the tangent. I suspect Mitchell is still on the Covid list, and I remain concerned about whether there is another shoe to drop. Please let this be the end of it!!!

Not being the CEO of a major corporation, I do not have the tix to give. Nor do I want my son or DIL touching any Mead gift you might have in mind for Brady. No telling where that might have been!!!

Have you ever attended a game at Lambeau Field? It is NOTHING like the Bills stadium in Orchard Park. NOTHING! As you drive toward the stadium there are modest residential houses with signs in the yard front saying “Park & Pee $20”. It is a dense and mature residential area. The closer you get, the higher the price goes up. “Park & Pee $35”.  They either let you into their house on their 10,00 SF lot, or they have porta potties in the yard. You park on their front lawn, feet from their house, and tailgate as long as you want. It’s not rural, it is residential.

There are no mega-lots that take forever to get out of.  It’s more like the Rock Pile than OP. You may be far too young to know of that.

Green Bay is a unique experience, and if you had ever been there you’d probably know enough not to argue the point. People who follow football understand this.

I’m not sure what your point is about my having lived in different places. Yep, I have moved around a bit for various reasons. I think it’s a good thing to see different ways of life and experience different traditions. It helps a person to not be so small minded.

You sound like a one trick pony who hasn’t seen enough to evaluate various options.

They won’t wake him up will they?   Hoping it could be handled like a probe Mulder and Scully would have to track down if anyone needed details.

This.  Just because he doesn't disclose or says that it's a personal thing doesn't mean he isn't.

I tend to hope, with his continued privacy on the matter, that he's intentionally providing cover for his guys who have chosen not to get vaccinated (I assume it's more than just Beasley). I know he made early comments that strongly suggested an anti-vax inclination, but I agree with many who guess Josh Allen would place availability above his own potential personal reluctance.

Often I think of Diggs's tweet in response to Beasley early on: something to the effect of "Availability. Accountability." That is the kind of football-based decision-making I hope won over Allen. Being vaccinated makes it more likely a player will be available more often.

But there's so much we don't know and won't know, which makes this all quite thrilling.

I can’t figure out if you’re describing Rich Stadium or Lambeau Field.

People have signs that say “park and pee”? And the closer you get to the stadium, the prices go up?

You dont say!?

Certainly don’t see that on Big Tree & Abbott every Sunday. (I’m just kidding, that’s ALL you see).

Maybe you haven’t been to the stadium since it was built in a cornfield in the 70’s.

“You sound like a one trick pony who hasn’t seen enough to evaluate various options.”

I can just about guarantee that i’ve been to more stadiums than you have. I went on a road trip where I went to nearly every stadium in the NFL recently.

This is a scary night to go to sleep... it's like anti-Christmas.

I wake up with either a pleasant or unpleasant surprise.

Unpleasant is obviously that Josh is out and confirmation that he's unvaxxed becomes pretty solid.

Pleasant would be Josh being able to play. Pleasant for the obvious reason that I love watching Josh Allen play football. But also pleasant because it would pretty solidly confirm what I suspected since the Summer: despite his initial hesitancy, Josh did the best thing for the team and got vaccinated.

And to be clear, I still think we could and probably should win even if Webb starts.

Exactly.  There was no rush to sign an unvaccinated player.  Since the Pegulas, Beane and Coach are vaccinated, I don’t think they make this kind of investment in an unvaccinated player.  I damn well would not risk my money on that.  Would any of you?

Remember that last season’s MVP, Rodgers has tested positive and is missing Sunday’s game.
