Dr. K Posted November 3, 2021 Posted November 3, 2021 (edited) I post this just as an antidote if you are tempted to obsess about the flaws in the Bills' play this season. Remember that we went through twenty years of games like this. November 3, 2013 Total plays: Bills 77, Kansas City 54. Yards gained: Bills 470, KC 210. Yards rushing: Bills 241, KC 95. First downs: Bills 25, KC 15. Final score: Kansas City 23, Bills 13 Just kill me now, football gods. Edited November 3, 2021 by Dr. K 2 2 Quote

WotAGuy Posted November 3, 2021 Posted November 3, 2021 Why?? Just why?? This is like being married to Elizabeth Hurley and deciding to look at photos of that old girlfriend with the buck teeth and acne problem. 7 Quote

We had more yards, more plays, more first downs, and the ball at the end. Still lost. Quote

Freddie's Dead Posted November 3, 2021 Posted November 3, 2021 Tuel's career ended on a single play. Yet somehow Peterman continued to throw pick after pick.... Quote
msw2112 Posted November 3, 2021 Posted November 3, 2021 If I recall, Tuel had played a pretty good game up to that point. Quote
corta765 Posted November 4, 2021 Posted November 4, 2021 I would just like to note on my Defining Moment Season Series for 2013 this game was the real highlight of the bunch and started of string of losses to KC that were utterly mind numbing. Quote

Jay_Fixit Posted November 4, 2021 Posted November 4, 2021 Hey @Beast this is the game where “someone” said it was Stevie’s fault there was a pick 6 because he got too open. Dead serious. 1 Quote

elroy16 Posted November 4, 2021 Posted November 4, 2021 (edited) I saw the date and was like, no way that's the Tuel game. Eight freaking years ago, where does the time go? I watch Bills games via streaming so am ~20 seconds behind TV. I had two TV's going, one with the local game and one streaming the Bills. Right before the pick I saw TD on the other screen on the bottom bar and was like, ***** I ruined a TD (thinking the Bills scored) and then that happened. It was quite the rollercoaster of emotions. I now cover the bottom of the second TV when watching two games. Edited November 4, 2021 by elroy16 1 Quote

One was a UFA. The other one was a 5th round draft pick who had a pretty decent college career. It’s not really a surprise that he lasted a little longer Quote
