gonzo1105 Posted November 2, 2021 Posted November 2, 2021 The asking price has to be a 2nd round pick. Anything less is not worth it. The Bills can let him go next year and get a 4th, 5th round comp pick for him. it’s a lot but that’s the going rate for a QB needy team. Id prob ask for one of their QBs back as well. 2 Quote
DapperCam Posted November 2, 2021 Posted November 2, 2021 I’ll take a conditional 2nd rounder (3rd upgrades to 2nd if he plays significant time). Or an upgrade at interior OL, or an upgrade at pass rusher. Maybe an upgrade at RB, but probably not. Quote
Dan Posted November 2, 2021 Posted November 2, 2021 The Bills would not have gone to 4 consecutive Super Bowls without Frank Reich or Kenneth Davis on the team. A sold back up to every position is essential, especially in a 17 game seasons. Only reason I would even answer the phone would be if the voicemail said we have a first round pick we don’t really want. Quote

Period. I wouldnt even do the picks. It has to be an immediate impact player who can start and improve a position this year. Just as Trubisky would do for them. Brandon Scherff or no deal. edit: I miiiiiight be convinced for a 1st since they'll be an early pick, but I'd have to really think about it. And I dont think they'd give up a 1st anyways. Trubisky could hold down the fort in the regular season and get us in to the playoffs, something i dont think Fromm could do. But yea without Allen in the playoffs we're done. No team in their right mind would give up a 1st or 2nd to rent a player for a half season. With that being said, the Saints should be calling right now for Trubisky and offering a 3rd rounder. Quote

If this is true, it's got to be for immediate OL/Edge help. Wouldn't shock me at all if Hughes/Addison went too as a make weight. Quote
Rubes Posted November 2, 2021 Posted November 2, 2021 I get the love for Trubisky as a great insurance policy, but at the same time, his value is huge and will disappear after this season. If there's someone significant Beane can get for him while his value is high, someone who can be a big piece to the puzzle this year, I think you have to take that chance. Definitely a big gamble, though. 1 Quote

letsgoteam Posted November 2, 2021 Posted November 2, 2021 IF MT is traded, they have to find a REAL backup QB in return or some way. Quote
dollars 2 donuts Posted November 2, 2021 Posted November 2, 2021 (edited) I can't explain it as it cuts both ways, but am I the only one that wants to throw up right now? My sphincter is tightened up to about 11 right now and my sphincter never tightens up, at least not to 11. I don't need this on trade deadline day. We never used to have this. My caboose is a victim of the Bills' success, I tell ya! Edited November 2, 2021 by dollars 2 donuts 1 Quote
