Maybe if our OC actually called running plays more often or let Motor not rotate with a guy under 4 ypc we would sse the production that is there.

He is a better running back than Moss.  He is getting less carries because of the fumbles.

It's possible Allen's playmaking covers up some deficits in offensive personnel and coaching. 

It is difficult to know from our perspective, we have examined all other possibilities concerning the Olines woes, it does seem that there has been some “regression” as it were.

Give him roughly same # attempts as Zeke, Chub, Mixon...and we're all talking about a Top 5 back, ypg.

 

That's about 5-6 more attempts/g. I'm NOT suggesting team go this route, but simply adding perspective to the discussion.

 

This is to say nothing of his PB excellence (imv)...or relatively poor reception skills.

 

Bottom line: send him to the RB equivalent of TE U and Bills may really have something.
