Augie Posted November 2, 2021 Posted November 2, 2021 I used to take my son to a meat market by night/sports bar by weekend for Bills games named Gecko’s in Sarasota, FL. They had regular drawings with all kinds of inappropriate gifts for 8 year olds to win (and he won suspiciously often!). The all-time leader was a tee-shirt with a little Gecko (think Geico guy) kicking a ball thru the uprights and a caption that said “Gecko’s, The Easiest Place To Score!” Gee, thanks! That led to some awkward questions! As it turns out, he may have been and near the top of the list! Quote
Blank Stare Posted November 2, 2021 Posted November 2, 2021 Perhaps, but did you see that kick yesterday? Dude barely took any steps and drilled it with power. He was so close to the holder. Impressive. Quote
SageAgainstTheMachine Posted November 2, 2021 Posted November 2, 2021 I mean let's be honest the concept of a "scoring list" that doesn't include the points that QBs produce by throwing for TDs is as dumb as stats get. That said, Tyler Bass is money and it stands to reason that he would surpass all other Bills' kickers. Quote

It’s amazing to think we have a guy with that kind of range. I wonder if he might set the new record kicking away from the scoreboard with a strong wind one day??? 1 Quote
Hebert19 Posted November 2, 2021 Posted November 2, 2021 He may be the best kicker in the league right now. 1 missed FG...0 missed EPA Quote
Mr. K Posted November 2, 2021 Posted November 2, 2021 Well I kind of hope not unless all of his points come in the increments of 1. Quote

We have him under contract til 2024. Tucker, the best kicker of all time makes $5MM. Top rank kickers on their 2nd contract make $4MM. Question will be with Josh's mega salary, can we afford to spend that much on our kicker. PFF currently has him ranked 7th on FG/XP. He's 3rd from the bottom on Kickoffs, but that may be due to some of our gaming on ST's. Fixed that for you. 1 Quote

With the way the offense should score under Allen for the future, Bass should continue to rack up the scoring. Buffalo Bills Career Scoring Leaders | The Football Database (footballdb.com) According to @stevestojan the answer is unequivocally NO!!! Sorry buddy, that was classic.😂 Quote
Greg S Posted November 2, 2021 Posted November 2, 2021 To bad Bass wasn't our kicker in Super Bowl 25. Quote
T master Posted November 2, 2021 Posted November 2, 2021 At his age if he continues to do as good as ha has been to this point i'd say he has a great chance to be that guy !! Quote
Kaenon Posted November 2, 2021 Posted November 2, 2021 At 9.2 ppg, he is ahead of the pace of every kicker ahead of him on that list. The best ppg is 7.25, so it's a wide margin. I don't see why not. Quote
PetermansRedemption Posted November 2, 2021 Posted November 2, 2021 It still blows my mind whenever I realize that all time leading scorers are often kickers. Quote
