Hebert19 Posted November 1, 2021 Posted November 1, 2021 They are in a good spot for the playoffs and Seimian is not not answer for them... Mitch is likely best back up out there. If I were them I'd make the call. Quote
Captain Hindsight Posted November 1, 2021 Posted November 1, 2021 No and frankly the Bills shouldn’t listen. We all watched Jake Fromm in preseason right? 3 3 Quote
JohnNord Posted November 1, 2021 Posted November 1, 2021 Let them call. At this point, when you’re a Super Bowl contender what good does a mid-round do? Tell New Orleans to take their 5th round pick and wipe their ass with it! 4 1 Quote
BillsfaninSB Posted November 1, 2021 Posted November 1, 2021 Not a chance. Can you imagine Mitch beating the Bills on T-day. 2 Quote
nucci Posted November 1, 2021 Posted November 1, 2021 Payton said they don't plan on bringing in another QB 1 Quote

No and it’s because we play them and if that happened and we lost to them, it would be a fireable offense that prob only Beane could survive. But Mitch needs this year mentally to get out from pressure and get his career back on track. Trust me , Mitch does not want to be anywhere else this year. Saints will be fine ; more likely Bree’s would return than Mitch get dealt there by Brandon. Quote

BillsFanForever19 Posted November 1, 2021 Posted November 1, 2021 I'm not dealing him if i'm Buffalo. Mitch could keep us competitive if something were to happen to Josh. Jake Fromm or Davis Webb... not so much. And there's no one out there on the market that could offer what he could either. I doubt they'd even call anyways. Taysom Hill will be ready to go by the next game and they (foolishly) think he's a star QB in the making. 2 Quote
ngbills Posted November 1, 2021 Posted November 1, 2021 Makes no sense form Bills. End of story. 1 Quote

BuffaloBillyG Posted November 1, 2021 Posted November 1, 2021 (edited) 1. If I'm Buffalo it would take a HEFTY haul to part with him this year. He's worth more to Buffalo as insurance then he would be for the Saints to pay the price. 2. If I'm the Saints I ride with Hill (who wasn't awful in spot starts last year) or if I feel I need to make a move...I call the Broncos to ask about Bridgewater who is familiar with the coaches, system and players...and likely would be had cheaper than Mitch. frostbitmic Posted November 1, 2021 Posted November 1, 2021 They'll bring in somebody off the street to be QB 3 ... If they called Beane, I'd be happy if he dealt him for a 1st round pick, other than that he's our insurance policy. Quote
DCofNC Posted November 1, 2021 Posted November 1, 2021 Simien is a solid player, they have no reason to panic. Quote
atlbillsfan1975 Posted November 1, 2021 Posted November 1, 2021 Saints want to offer a first? Surely Will they do that? Never that’s the only way I would make the trade if I was the Bills. Quote
All_Pro_Bills Posted November 1, 2021 Posted November 1, 2021 Give me a starting OG in exchange and I might listen to the offer. Quote

MAJBobby Posted November 1, 2021 Posted November 1, 2021 Two First is the starting price. Anything lower and hang the phone up. Quote
Rc2catch Posted November 1, 2021 Posted November 1, 2021 They are paying Taysum a decent amount. He’ll be back for next week and Semien showed he can at least manage the game and make a play or two. Zero chances they want to rent Mitch for half a season. 1 Quote
Shaw66 Posted November 1, 2021 Posted November 1, 2021 Well, actually, this isn't as wild an idea as everyone seems to think. What if the deal were Trubisky for Siemian and a starting guard? Siemian and a second round pick? The odds are you probably won't need your backup to start, because most starting QBs don't go down. Although Trubisky is clearly a better backup for Allen than Siemian, Siemian has a lot of starting experience and showed some good presence. Plus, their both free agents at the end of the year. Trubisky almost definitely is gone, but Siemian has real potential as longer-term backup. 3 Quote
