If they are better so be it. How good could an opponent feel beating the Bills if Allen had to sit out? It’s a long season, and the way they were using Henry came with risks and rewards. I can’t remember another RB getting run into the ground like that other than Larry Johnson and he didn’t last long. Quote
poblano Posted November 1, 2021 Posted November 1, 2021 Titans were lucky with him during that long, the work load is always dangerous for a RB especially with one heavy and with a punishing style, come on even one with a finesse style didn't last long, also in Tennessee Chris Johnson (i think, actually don't remember the name) Quote

Feel bad for Henry. Oilers fans? Not so much. For someone his size, I would guess he's one of those 2 surgery ones. Julio Jones, Kevin Durant, Edleman and someone else I believe had to have 2 surgeries. 1 1 Quote

Kelly missed playoff games due to injury. If a team beat the Bills without Allen I doubt it would matter to them 3 3 Quote

Henry is a year round Jerry Rice type training fanatic and he has not been injury prone. Mostly bad luck to me. Stuff happens. Edited November 1, 2021 by starrymessenger 1 Quote

wjag Posted November 1, 2021 Posted November 1, 2021 Well now. That sure takes the shine off of the Titans win yesterday. The AFC is so hard to predict right now. Colossal loss for Titans. Can anyone even name the RB2 there without looking it up? Quote
MAJBobby Posted November 1, 2021 Posted November 1, 2021 Watch King Henry career come down to a grinding stop. A major foot injury (that tends to take two surgeries to fix) on a guy that is 250 and leaned on heavily. 2 Quote
Giuseppe Tognarelli Posted November 1, 2021 Posted November 1, 2021 This is great news for the Bills, and we're all happy about it as it relates to the Bills. Let's not pretend otherwise. 1 1 Quote

For example, 5th Metatarsal Base Fractures are among the most common fractures of the foot and are predisposed to poor healing due to the limited blood supply to the specific areas of the 5th metatarsal base. Okay. If the location is "ideal"....could he heal in time this season to play? Quote

What I’m saying is if I had a choice of playing them with or without Henry I’d rather take on their best. I take no pleasure or derive any comfort from seeing great players go down - even if it improves my chances. How ‘bout you? Quote

And now you have to wonder how well he'll come back from it next year. I really thought he deserved to win it last season. To do what he is doing, head and shoulders above anyone else in that position, and carrying a playoff team. Anyways, yes, I think it was a ticking time bomb, unfortunately. Quote
