YoloinOhio Posted November 1, 2021 Posted November 1, 2021 Brutal because they have no depth behind him Quote
Bob in STL Posted November 1, 2021 Posted November 1, 2021 Very sad to see. I hate seeing injuries. Hope he can recover. Quote
Jumpsuit Jim Posted November 1, 2021 Posted November 1, 2021 This really sucks. Henry is a true bruiser of a running back - big, strong, crazy fast. If this injury does take him out for the rest of the season, it becomes one more case study on why the NFL is devaluing the running game. One person (other than QB) going out should not derail an entire team. 1 Quote
Greg S Posted November 1, 2021 Posted November 1, 2021 Sorry to hear this. You never want to see anyone get hurt. Quote
Just in Atlanta Posted November 1, 2021 Posted November 1, 2021 Guy’s a beast. I agree - Tannyhill and Jones aren’t carrying this offense if Henry’s out. Quote

Rocky Landing Posted November 1, 2021 Posted November 1, 2021 If you're going to hang your offense on one star player, running back would have to be the riskiest. As tough as Henry is, it was just a matter of time. 1 Quote
Ethan in Cleveland Posted November 1, 2021 Posted November 1, 2021 Wow I hate to see star players get hurts. It diminishes the game. It will be really interesting to see if they can pivot to a pass first offense with AJ Brown and Julio Jones 1 Quote
zevo Posted November 1, 2021 Posted November 1, 2021 it will be interesting to see how their adapts...I don't think its going to be as terrible as it may seem...if tannehil gets going, he has great weapons in the passing game. ill take the wait and see approach before burying them Quote

Coach Tuesday Posted November 1, 2021 Posted November 1, 2021 Bad for the NFL in what has been - other than our beloved Bills - a truly uninspiring, boring, anodyne season with tons of blowouts and many teams completely out of the running within 6 weeks of opening day. 2 Quote
1ManRaid Posted November 1, 2021 Posted November 1, 2021 Even Superman eventually gets tired. While I certainly never celebrate or wish injuries upon players, he couldn't have had the injury before beating us? Just our luck... Quote
First Round Bust Posted November 1, 2021 Posted November 1, 2021 wow...biggest impact imagined...productive oh yeah but way too many carries...too many seasons...plus the post-season workload..another reason to value the passing game over the running game all things being equal...bring the titans back down more than 1 notch for sure Quote

Even if that weren't the case, the more you use something the more chances you have for an accident, so it still actually is. Quote
eball Posted November 1, 2021 Posted November 1, 2021 5th metatarsal is, I believe, the dreaded "Jones fracture" injury. Terrible for an athlete. Feel bad for Henry. Oilers fans? Not so much. 1 Quote
Beast Posted November 1, 2021 Posted November 1, 2021 He probably hurt it the week before running over the Bills defense. Quote
Royale with Cheese Posted November 1, 2021 Posted November 1, 2021 Okay, now I won't feel worried facing the Titans in the playoffs. Quote
Don Otreply Posted November 1, 2021 Posted November 1, 2021 Sucks big time for Henry and his team, it’s good for everyone who will have to play them going forward, football is a harsh game, played with consequences, Quote
