Process Posted November 1, 2021 Posted November 1, 2021 (edited) Wow. You can stick a fork in the Titans if this is true. The AFC continues to look weaker and weaker each week. Edited November 1, 2021 by Process 5 Quote
Roundybout Posted November 1, 2021 Posted November 1, 2021 RIP Titans. Can't see Tannehill carrying this team himself and furthermore I wonder how long this injury lingers for Henry. 2 1 Quote
Forward Progress Posted November 1, 2021 Posted November 1, 2021 Damn!!! I am horrible person, because my first thought was, "there goes my fantasy team." I hate to see players lose time to injury, especially superstars like Henry. If Henry is gone for the year, this will affect the Titans in the same way that losing a QB does to most teams. 9 Quote
mannc Posted November 1, 2021 Posted November 1, 2021 Hate to see anyone injured, but when you give a RB that many touches, he’s going to get dinged up. I have feeling the Titans will still be very tough without Henry. 1 3 Quote
4_kidd_4 Posted November 1, 2021 Posted November 1, 2021 Too bad. Aside from when he’s playing us I do enjoy watching him. Total throwback style, run right over you player. 8 3 Quote
starrymessenger Posted November 1, 2021 Posted November 1, 2021 Sorry to hear this. Hope it’s not season ending. Scary as he is I’d much rather see him play than sit. There are plenty of good backs in the league but only a few true franchise players. He’s the best. 2 4 Quote
Blainorama5 Posted November 1, 2021 Posted November 1, 2021 Wow - that would be brutal for them for sure! 1 Quote

As you allude to, depending on a single player to badger the opposing D and with his running style, the likelihood of such injuries does go up significantly. Vrabel should have known better than to wear out Henry in that way. I dont agree with the last part of your post. Henry's presence sets up their entire offense due to the commitments the opposing D has to make to contain him. The Titans O will just not be the same and good teams such as the Bills will take advantage. Titans may still win a lot of games, but will lose the ones that matter. MAJBobby Posted November 1, 2021 Posted November 1, 2021 (edited) Karma for Vrable 219 Carries already and not even 50% in to season. well Tenn you wanted to run Henry into the ground you got it. Edited November 1, 2021 by MAJBobby 2 1 19 1 Quote
billsbackto81 Posted November 1, 2021 Posted November 1, 2021 Major blow because he is not someone you replace with a plug and play player. No team is going to stack the box for whoever replaces Henry. And Tannehill is not going to thrive without the threat of Henry keeping defenses honest. 1 7 Quote

Not counting Julio because they'll be lucky if he plays half the games. Back down to earth for Tannehill. 1 1 Quote
HappyDays Posted November 1, 2021 Posted November 1, 2021 Wow I thought he had the best case for MVP so far. And now you have to wonder how well he'll come back from it next year. Quote
WhoTom Posted November 1, 2021 Posted November 1, 2021 Injury or not, I didn't think he'd be able to carry them deep into the playoffs. They could still make the playoffs thanks to being in a weak division, but without him, they're one-and-done. Quote
BuffaloBill Posted November 1, 2021 Posted November 1, 2021 Wow …. If he is out that really changes the dynamics of the AFC. Quote

Their running game and play action game will be nowhere near the same without Henry. Edited November 1, 2021 by billsfan1959 1 1 Quote

But there's a chance his run is over. Quote
RunTheBall Posted November 1, 2021 Posted November 1, 2021 Titans are done if this is true. Near equivalent to us losing Allen as their entire O runs through Henry. No need to stack the box, double Jones and Tannehill will do Tannehill things. 3 1 Quote
