Sherlock Holmes Posted October 30, 2021 Posted October 30, 2021 (edited) Everybody here knows how much I love McCaffrey but have been unwilling to accept that the Panthers would be willing to ship him out. Well, seems that that time has come. https://sports.yahoo.com/report-panthers-willing-trade-christian-031706279.html Now this article says that it would be Houston getting him as part of the Watson deal but I have other plans... We have the closest relationships to the Panthers in the league so why not help them out, right Beane? We package some picks and Addison to Houston, Carolina send us McCaffrey so we can take real good care of him and get him some Super Bowl rings starting this year. Carolina sends some picks and players to Houston and gets DeShaun. Everybody is happy, especially Josh Allen and me! I have the highest faith in Beane to get this done...Let's Go Brandon, work that phone! Edited October 30, 2021 by Sherlock Holmes 4 7 1 5 1 1 9 Quote
uninja Posted October 30, 2021 Posted October 30, 2021 He’s been dinged up/hurt the last two years. I feel like the price in draft picks, plus his contract and injury history will not make this deal worth our while. 9 1 13 Quote
BillsFan130 Posted October 30, 2021 Posted October 30, 2021 I just can't see it happening. Already paying Josh, Dawkins, tre, Milano, Taron, Hyde, poyer, Diggs and then probably Edmunds soon. The list goes on. I can't see them giving top dollar to a RB 5 1 Quote
1ManRaid Posted October 30, 2021 Posted October 30, 2021 Not touching that price with his injury risk. 1 6 1 Quote
TBBills Posted October 30, 2021 Posted October 30, 2021 No thanks his whole career will be about how many times he is injured. It's why I never touched him in fantasy. 1 1 3 Quote

machine gun kelly Posted October 30, 2021 Posted October 30, 2021 This is the downside of giving a RB this many touches combining rushing and all purpose yards. They break down too young. I love the guy too, but I’m no. Not even close to worth it. 1 1 Quote
Rc2catch Posted October 30, 2021 Posted October 30, 2021 I don’t believe the CMC rumor honestly, not that Carolina wouldn’t trade him but that houston would accept that as part of the deal. Brian Burns HAS to be included into that or it doesn’t make sense. 1 Quote

You don’t need good run blockers (which we don’t) when you have a RB like C. McC 1 Quote
BigAl2526 Posted October 30, 2021 Posted October 30, 2021 A Houston - Carolina trade makes more sense than anything I can imagine between Buffalo and Carolina. Quote

Well I guess... but regardless of contract it still not worth it imo. Reliability and/or availability is important and he doesn't have any of that at this point in his career. 1 1 Quote
Mat68 Posted October 30, 2021 Posted October 30, 2021 No. Paying top dollar for a Rb who is oft injured makes 0 sense. 1 1 Quote

TheBeaneBandit Posted October 30, 2021 Posted October 30, 2021 Just too risky for me. If I knew for certain he had at least 2 or 3 more good/elite seasons hell yeah. Quote
