For whatever reason,  our township didn't reschedule despite torrential rain. On the bright side I have a bunch of candy leftover.

Happpy Halloween........Cheers & go Bills

Halloween is on Sunday...?

Love the pumpkin. For some crazy reason, I've never thought of doing a Bills logo.

I think Halloween is technically on Sunday,  but different areas have trick or treat on different nights. A good learning experience for the kids. Most things don't go as planned.

Lame. I've never heard of that. Trick or treating has always been on Halloween, as God intended.

Some fundamentalist will politely tell you your soul should reside in Hell for that. 🎃😁

A cheap friend emailed me and wrote "almost time to draw the blinds and turn out the lights."  I replied "federal election's long over!"

I think the trick was on the Canadian voters.  Not necessarily for the MPs and parties voted for, but for the fact an election could be called by the governing party.  Election ads can turn one into a zombie. 🧟‍♂️

Or the governing party could call the election and it backfires and you have Joe Clark as Prime Minister

We went from Happy Halloween to Canadian politics in record time!!!   :)

But thanks for reminding me to get a bunch of candy I’ll take to the park Monday to give away. We don’t get much traffic in here, but you have to be ready just in case!

I have a setup wherein Halloween movies will be on the telly, the door is close enough to hand out the few trick or treaters we may or may not get...things are tricky now post covid...In some ways I think people want to embrace getting out and having fun again so maybe an uptick? we shall see

in socal its is also weather related. some are the most weather wimpy people you've ever seen......if it rains noone will show up...which is rare.....it did rain yesterday we shall see.

Light a few candles and sit in the spooky dark tonight LOL Happy Halloween!!!

We live in a community where the HOA fee covers all the landscape maintenance (along with a LOT of other stuff). There are 68 houses in the subdivision, and only 2 with small kids. (We be old folk, and most are a good bit older than we are!)

The landscape crews knew we were easy picking with good candy and the houses fairly close together. They used to bring all their kids and some of their friends in here on Halloween. It was awesome because it was great to see all the little kids having a big night in their costumes. Then….it stopped. Nobody is sure if it was Covid or some miserable old fart complained to the landscape company. I hope they come back this year, and we will shop as though we will get a good crowd.

S WV had Trick or Treat on Saturday night.

Even in the rain we had 200+  "guests"

Some were way too old IMHO

We gave glow sticks to the big kids and  Reese Cups to the lil ones.

Cost    Reese Cups >> Glow Sticks
