Talley56
Not from the WNY area and I can say, while I am not familiar with that particular restaurant, I definitely heard of pizza subs in my area.
Guffalo
I used to work at Mikes Subs in Kenmore, they were such a simple sub to make although initially we just used the microwave, then microwave to melt, toaster oven to finish the crispy sub.

Delaware Avenue, correct? I was an Art's Hoagie Hut customer, mostly due to working right across the street. And subs and hoagies unequalled to this day. Â I don't recall a pizza sub on his menu, but there might have been. Â
Johnny Hammersticks
I probably ate 50 of these from the Oswego Sub Shop during grad school.

thenorthremembers
Pizza Subs were for sure a thing in Orleans County growing up. That said, you can order them at Subway so not that big of a secret.

Buffalo716
There are still a decent amount of mom and pop shops that make a good pizza sub

WhoTom
Jamestown used to have a mom-n-pop Italian restaurant called "House of Pizza." My favorites were the pizza subs and the meatball subs. Other than the ones my mom made, they were the best. Â Â Â Â
