Florida Bills Fanatic Posted October 22, 2021 Posted October 22, 2021 Well deserved for a great player and an even better human being. He dealt with some tragedy in his life but never lost his way. He was always one of my favorites. He always seemed to be good for at least one epic hit in every game. 1 1 Quote
Utah John Posted October 22, 2021 Posted October 22, 2021 Does anyone recall how we acquired Spielman? He was NOT washed up when he was on the Bills, but then he got hurt and I think that was about it. Quote

I think he signed as FA. he came back with the Browns in ‘99 but had to retire it seemed almost immediately after hurting his neck again. 1 Quote
Alphadawg7 Posted October 22, 2021 Posted October 22, 2021 This was amazing! A well deserved honor for an outstanding player and person. Loved this Quote
machine gun kelly Posted October 22, 2021 Posted October 22, 2021 Loved this guy. He was one of my favorites on the best defense the Bills ever fielded in 62 years, and not even close. Teddy Spielman Paup and so on. They were daunting. Too bad we didn’t have an offense even close to complimenting the D. 1 Quote
stevewin Posted October 22, 2021 Posted October 22, 2021 Love Chris Spielman. My favorite story about him is that he used to go up and down stairs sideways - as part of normal routine - to work on his lateral mobility. Quote

Hell, as I get older, I do that to keep both hands on the railing. 8 Quote
RevWarRifleman Posted October 22, 2021 Posted October 22, 2021 Thanks for posting. I always liked Spielman. I wish he played his whole career as a Bill Quote

cwater10 Posted October 22, 2021 Posted October 22, 2021 Love that guy. Class A great human being and insanely tough and talented LB... only a Bill for a relatively short time, but so memorable. 1 Quote

Kick the tires? 😉 But seriously, I love the way they "told" him the news. They're such a football-inept organization, but at least they have class. 1 Quote

Thanks for digging that up. I remember Kelce as never looking back at his time in Detroit. He was 100% a Bill, and committed to the success of the team. Really a great player and a great man. Quote
