It doesn't matter who the democrats run in 2024 or for the next 2 election cycles, it will be a landslide for republicans.  The past has a tendency to repeat itself.

No one remembers the Carter presidency even though we joke about it over 40 years later.  It was a disaster with high inflation, high unemployment, the energy crisis and the Iran hostage crisis.  The administration was paralyzed by indecision and their lack of direction made them appear incompetent.  The perceived incompetence of the administration haunted democratic candidates for years.

Now we have a Biden administration that is following the Carter script.  Sure, there are no hostages, but the economic difficulties and high inflation bring into question the president's ability to solve any problem.  Carter may not have governed well but he was liked, and no one questioned his intellect or credentials (graduated from the US Naval Academy, businessman, governor of Georgia).  Biden has no credentials other than his lifetime tenure as a politician.  His intellect was always suspect, now he often appears frail, confused, incoherent and angry.

Like the past with Carter, Biden will haunt democratic presidential candidates for a good 10 years.  The jokes and videos will surely last longer.  Anyone within arm's length of Biden will have Joe's incompetence used against them.  The democrats won't recover until the politicians and voters start aging out, forgetting the past.

The Dems should have picked Tulsi Gabbard. She's have votes from both sides of the isle. I know, this conservatives is a HUGE fan of hers outside her gun platform.

With Biden there's also the absurd. reality bending woke, social justice culture subplot crawling out of the shadows to take center stage.  The only thing missing from this administration is the laugh-tracks playing in the background.

After the Bills win the super bowl will any of that really matter? Pigs will have learned to fly. Dogs and cats will be cohabitating. And hell will be frozen solid!

New poll shows Biden LOSING to Buttigieg in New Hampshire

Many African American and Hispanic Democrats won't vote for a gay candidate, and Buttigieg ran into that when he campaigned in 2020.  May be cool in New Hampshire, but in the Midwest and South, forget it.  They will sit out the race.

That poll tells me Republicans can run anyone but Trump and win.

They can even run Trump and win.  The Dems have no one and replacing Kamala with a white guy will lose them blacks and hispanics.

It doesn't matter who they run, the Dems have already proven they know how to win an election by any means necessary .

JOE BIDEN IS TOAST

I have been saying all along that Joe Biden’s job approval numbers are inflated. There is no way that anything like 40 percent of voters observe what has happened over the last two years and say, “Great job, Joe!” I think his approval numbers are buoyed by Democrats who know he is a lousy president, but stick up for their party when a pollster calls.

This ABC News/Washington Post poll supports that hypothesis. It finds that only 35% of Democrats want Biden to be their party’s nominee in 2024.

That implies, I think, an overall approval rating of no more than 30 percent, which is one reason why the midterms are going to be a worse wipeout for Democrats than most now predict.

Based on this ABC/Post poll and others like it, along with common sense and the evidence of my own eyes, I think it is abundantly clear that Joe Biden will not be the Democrats’ nominee in 2024. The Democrats are desperately trying to get past the midterms, pretending that all is normal. Once November is behind us, their search for a successor will begin in earnest.
