When I was in Thailand I had fresh pineapple dipped in a mixture of salt, sugar and hot red pepper flakes.  Sounds weird but so good!

Substitute BBQ sauce too.  Open Pit.  Don't get too cute with fancy BBQ sauce. LoL... I am a "gravy guy!" 😉 

 

I put sriracha in my (Bullseye original) BBQ sauce for some zip. Quite good. 

 

Out of all the strange things mentioned here, has it come up that @Royale with Cheese uses ranch dip with his wings? Have you ever heard of such a thing? Absolutely DISGUSTING, not to mention un-American!

Peanut butter and pickle sandwich. Not very often though. Like once or twice a year.  It's weirdly delicious.

This may not be the weirdest, I only say it because so many people disagree with me, but I love pickles on sandwiches.  Pretty much any sandwich: burgers, deli sandwiches, chicken sandwiches, etc.  A lot of people I know say pickles "ruin" sandwiches.  I say they enhance.

It's basically sweet and sour sauce in salad dressing form so I don't see that as that strange.

One of the main items on a Chicago style hotdog too.  But, I will take it off and eat it individually, just easier.
