This is an underappreciated fact.  I would argue that McD & Bean totally screwed up, on paper, Allen's rookie training camp, preseason and first half of the season.  It wasn't until they brought veteran QB's into the room and cut useless WR's Holmes & Benjamin (how many TD passes did he drop - 3?) that they started to right by Allen.

Remember when we thought Robert Foster was finally emerging as the #1 guy? And he was probably the best of that lot. We've come a looong way.

OK, enough. Is there any way to back out of this wormhole? I have seen the future and I don't want any more of it.

I mean you could say that only worked because Josh is a freak who can jump over LBs and ward off sacks with other would be sackers. Rosen and Darnold haven't faired all that well.

They didn’t have it to begin with.  The best they can hope for is Alex Smith type careers.

Browns annoy me.

I can't make up my mind about them. Do I want them to step up and finally finish off Pittsburgh's reign? Or would I prefer them to be the pathetic Browns again. I tend toward the former since I just really don't even enjoy watching Ben & Co. anymore.

In practice, Yeah.

Agreed. That's how I am with teams that aren't "my" teams. Red Sox when they finally got past the Yankees? Loved it.  Arrogant Red Sox spending like the Yankees and acting like they're now the perennial favorites? Not so much.

OK, now I'm back at "fire Fangio."

It’s Baker.  Can’t get past his smugness.

I think that's it. One of those teams that just picks up any and every problem player out there. I mean, you don't need to have a team of all choirboys, but there's a big difference between that and signing the Kareem Hunts of the world.  Or Johnny Manziel ...

If this game isn’t a clear illustration of Mayfield, Hunt and Chubb all being super over rated, nothing will ever prove it to people.

I'd take Chubb 7 days a week and Hunt for that matter. Better than. Anything we have at RB.

The Browns 3rd stringer looks better than anything we have, let’s not pretend that’s a measure of success.
