Beast Posted October 19, 2021 Posted October 19, 2021 We have Stevenson and McKenzie. Thank you for the memories but pass. Quote
Rc2catch Posted October 19, 2021 Posted October 19, 2021 We are not missing roberts this year. Mckenzie might give people some worries but we don’t need another special teams only player Quote
letsgoteam Posted October 19, 2021 Posted October 19, 2021 bring in for workout, maybe sign to PS, but that would be it as this point Quote

He can go play gin rummy with John Brown. Salty. And to form Weo. I do appreciate the constants within The Universe 2 Quote

Man with No Name Posted October 19, 2021 Posted October 19, 2021 Roberts was really solid for us last year and I was sad to see him go, but he just isn't versatile enough. 1 Quote
Brianmoorman4jesus Posted October 19, 2021 Posted October 19, 2021 Bring him and John Brown back. ***** it. Go for broke in 21’ Quote

Doc Posted October 19, 2021 Posted October 19, 2021 The Bills got the last/best out of him. Time to retire Andre. 1 Quote
bmur66 Posted October 19, 2021 Posted October 19, 2021 He was solid here but I think McKenzie is more of a threat. 1 Quote

Yes lets give up a position of strength to add a marginal one dimensional player. Isaac McKittrick has been just fine. He took one to the house last night...too bad a penalty got it snuffed. Plus we have the rookie that hasn't played yet. Remember all the cut Andre posts last year before the season started? Quote
John from Riverside Posted October 19, 2021 Posted October 19, 2021 McKenzie literally just ran one back for a touchdown for not a holding call that didn’t even affect the play time to move on from Robert’s Quote

Agree to a better option might be to activate Stevenson. I'm npt all in favor of bringing back Roberts, but posts were questions whom to cut, making a trade solves that. 27 minutes ago, JMF2006 said: Yes lets give up a position of strength to add a marginal one dimensional player. Remember all the cut Andre posts last year before the season started? As posted above, not necessarily advocating to pick up Roberts, just commenting how to do it without cutting asnyone. As far as giving up a position of strength, when every week we have 2 to 3 D lineman inactive, not sure you're giving up much of anything by trading one away. Good chance in the off season at least 3 of the following Phillips, Zimmer, Obada, and Addison will be gone anyway, go getting something for a player who's inactive anyway isn't so bad. For those who often question the NFL rule about why only 46 man active roster as opposed to all 53, the Bills D line is an example of why that rule is in place. Quote

FilthyBeast Posted October 19, 2021 Posted October 19, 2021 There's a reason this guy was cut and I'll never understand the obsession fans have over garbage players. For everybody that believes we should resign him you do realize he never returned a kick for a TD during his time here right? Meanwhile MacKenzie is a holding call away from doing it twice in only 7 games at the return guy vs 2 years worth of Roberts time in Buffalo? Quote

ColoradoBills Posted October 19, 2021 Posted October 19, 2021 McKenzie is more than fine. Andre Smith had 2 brutal penalties in last nights game. One on a punt that brought the ball back from mid field and of course the backbreaker KO TD. Flags are the issue on returns not the returner. Quote
