Last week we forced a fumble and recovered on a kickoff. Maybe they’re hoping for that or a hold on the return team (which happened on the opening kickoff)

I asked about the short kickoffs in the first half thread and got quoted SIX times by people telling me it was purposeful and it was working. I get the concept: maybe you stop them at the 22. Woo-hoo! Saved three yards. The risk? A big return. Just give them the ball at the 25 and play football.
