It's like the Pats running up the score back in the day - you don't like it, stop them.

No sympathy at all from me for that scumbag organization

I agree, but I’m not even taking the Pats being part of it into account. “If you don’t like it stop it”, is a fair point, but taunting and celebrating before getting into the end zone is too much. The only thing that’ll come from that is potentially costing your own team points. Every generation is different, and you have to give players some freedom, but save it for the end zone.

I loved the outcome of the Pats game, but I have a rules question. Given the taunting rule, shouldn’t that have been called in a way that didn’t end the game? I say that because it occurred in the play and before he scored. I f called, shouldn’t the ball been moved back from the original spot? I don’t know, which is why I’m asking. It easily could have been called.

Ya but only a fool take the team lightly as they don’t get blown out and fight to the end. As I said before our tea off says who they are, but they are literally a few plays from being 5-1.

Im not worried about their record this year as they need more good young talent.  The last two draft classes look pretty decent (Jones,Baremore,Stevenson, Dugger Etc) a nice high draft pick to either get a stud CB or WR AND I AM HAPPY lol

Sounds like "Next Year's Your Year For Sure!"

PS Most teams are literally a few plays each game away from a win every week

I believe that by rule, taunting is a dead ball foul.

Pretty sure taunting is applied after the result of the play

I didn't see any flags on that play. If the NFL wants to be consistent there should have been several regardless of whether it was the end of the game.

The game was officially over. A fine perhaps.

I probably wouldn’t mind that rule being changed if a guy taunts during the play. Keep it a dead ball penalty if it occurs after the whistle, or in the end zone.

No NFL team can be taken "lightly".

Yep. Some of these “our crap doesn’t stink” takes are just begging to be disappointed. As the old saying goes, it’s a week to week league and on any given Sunday…

Stay humble.

Speaking of today’s games, did anyone else think that not Jacoby Brissett on that last 4th and 1 was coaching malpractice? Everyone knows they’re not running Tua because of his ribs, and the qb sneak is pretty much always the best call there. And Brissett is good at it.

Absolutely, but I also think it’s fair to say the Pats aren’t a really good team. It’s not the same as being arrogant about our team to simply acknowledge the Pats are a below average team. We could lose to anyone on any given week, but the Pats are consistently losing games, and giving up 300 yards to Davis Mills. It’s ok to say that overall we’re better than a lot of teams.

I'm currently leading my fantasy matchup by 46 points and I still have Diontae Johnson left to play, BUT my opponent has Derrick Henry, AJ Brown, Josh Allen, Emmanuel Sanders, Dawson Knox, Tyler Bass, and the Bills defense in his starting lineup.

Ouch that's a good lineup

Ya but this is probably the only game I feel they got hosed in the loss. (That missed Facemask gonna drive me nuts all week esp with sports radio lol)

also they have a good young core and unlike most teams IMO they have their QB. Let’s face it most teams have the pieces but no QB which is the hard piece to get. They have the QB , now they need a #1 WR to compliment Borne and Meyers. On D we probably could use a shut down corner.. but outside of Buffalo and Cowboys few teams have numerous WR weapons so not really needed to win.
