Diggs would have had a 75 yard TD if Allen had led him on that deep throw.

When a guy is THAT wide open 50 plus yards down the field, the last thing you want to see is an overthrow.

Allen, despite what some here think, made the absolute proper, safe throw to secure an absolutely huge gain.

I am confused why Diggs seem to pause for an extended length of time after making this catch.

Eric wood said the same thing on the Monday morning show.

If a guy is that open, just put it up there and let him adjust, don't try to hit him on the run.

I mean the ball already was like 55 air yards.

He lost his bearings a little and didn't know where the defender was because he blew him up so good.  Was probably expecting a hit after getting the ball.

I am more and more convinced he thought Sorenson was behind him and was going to thud into him so he slowed to make sure he had secured the ball to survive the hit. Then he looks to his right and is like "hang on that is Sorenson, there must be nobody behind me" but he just can't accelerate away again soon enough.
