You may remember him as the guy who Pete Rose bulldozed at home plate in the All-Star game, but his post playing career he was the color analyst for the A's. And a damn good one too. He would always talk to the fans, and after a 5 minute conversation with him, you felt like you were a part of his immediate family. This is a big loss for the A's and their fans.

I remember Ray Fosse playing for Cleveland.  He was compared favorably to Johnny Bench at the time.

Then that idiot  from Cincinnati ruined Ray's career at the All-Star game.  He was never the same after that play.

RIP  Ray Fosse.

Yeah... Rose is a dirt ball.  The guy absolutely deserves to be banned for life. Unlike the NFL... At least MLB has some values...
