ndirish1978 Posted October 14, 2021 Posted October 14, 2021 The offense is doing just fine, but I agree it's not firing on all cylinders - too many 3 and outs, too many slightly misplaced balls or drops, too much pressure conceded on the edges. I trust them to clean up the little mistakes and get it going full throttle. When the offense gets going full throttle this team will be terrifying. I'm not saying we're playing poorly, I just believe strongly that we can be better than what we've been thus far. 1 Quote

You must be really fun to around at parties. Does putting your shoes on make you upset?  Let's try and help you out: You probably won't see the numbers of 2020 Diggs ever again, even though he's a better player. What you will see if the emergence of Dawson Knox and Emmanuel Sanders BECAUSE of him. Emmanuel Sanders has been so good for us.... why? Not only is he a pro bowl player but Diggs causes the other team to shade a safety to his side. It's this weird thing called being good and having options. He's averaging 75 yards a game down from 95 which is 1 catch a game, essentially.  Diggs is fine, our offense is number 1 in the league and we are tracking towards a historic season.... how the hell did some of you make it through the drought? Quote

Some team is going to absolutely be obliterated soon. Maybe this weekend. It's funny that we have won the games we have won and by those scores....and yet we are still waiting for the team to really bust out. Â I mean, we beat Miami 35-0 and I still thought there was a lot to be unhappy about in that game--lots of stuff to work on and fix as McDermott pointed out in his post-game PC. Â If and when we put it together, you're going to see a SB winning team. Â Now that we passed the KC test so well, I can't wait to see what we do against Tampa. Â Â 1 1 Quote

They haven’t clicked like they did last year but they’ve been more than fine thanks for a much improved defense to this point…. And their running game is much better.  Davis has been a non factor after a really solid rookie season.    I rather the defense has the rest that the secondary needs so letting the offense just plod a bit to give the d rest. Dl we got enough to rotate without a long rest, secondary isn't as deep though cupboard isn't bare. Josh can make the splash plays when needs to but enjoys watching his defense play lights out best seats in house right on the sideline. Quote

Virgil Posted October 15, 2021 Posted October 15, 2021 I just want to know what happened to the deep crossing routes. They were such a big hit for us last year and you could make a two hour movie of just Bills receiver toe taps on the sideline. I don't get it. Quote

I think that stuff is coming. Teams are also playing a lot more Man2. It'll open up game by game... you may see a ton of it this week and then not again for another 3. That's the one way I admire Daboll. His game plans vary drastically from week to week. What he did last week with Moss was masterful. 1 Quote

Yep. Which shows how much the potential is insane,  Bad games, injuries, many factors can derail in one game, so reaching, let alone winning, the Superbowl is not given at all. But Bills are so well balanced, so talented including depth, the odds of them faltering in all phases in one game at a critical game are slim. Awesome! Quote

billsfan89 Posted October 15, 2021 Posted October 15, 2021 The offense is adjusting and not just running things back and just do the same thing. The league adjusts so adjust your offense before teams figure you out. Knox having a larger role, the running game and Sanders are being implemented into the offense and you kind of get the feeling that by mid-November the offense is going to have it all put together. The offense now has so many different ways it can go besides split them out four wide and have the WR's and Allen play pitch and catch. The team can run the ball more consistently and they have a tight end that can play well in the passing game. They are still playing very good offense but just working out the rough edges. Quote
