wppete Posted October 15, 2021 Posted October 15, 2021 What about Lorenzo? Maybe not the best but a great all time Bill on Defense. 1 Quote

(I think Gailey and Cam would have broken the draught had he fallen to 3 or us having the first pick) Perhaps, but Ralph was killing us with "cash to cap." Also, Levy as GM set us back for perhaps a decade. 1 Quote

Pettine and Schwartz got a ton out of the group though. Remember when our defense stared Kyle Williams at nose tackle…. (I think Gailey and Cam would have broken the draught had he fallen to 3 or us having the first pick) Pretty sure Pettine's defense was the worst defense in franchise history in defending the run Quote

mannc Posted October 17, 2021 Posted October 17, 2021 I doubt any Bills’ FA has had a better first five games than Emanuel Sanders. Quote
machine gun kelly Posted October 17, 2021 Posted October 17, 2021 We’ve had a ton of good and bad, but the best free agent, not trade has to be either Big Old Teddy or Paup. I loved Paup. People not old enough don’t remember how dominating that defense was back in the late 90’s. I used to get PO’ed as Bucs fans down here used to tell me the Bucs had the best defense, but statistically, we were ahead of them by 1. They were awesome, but we were better. Funny as both offenses sucked. Quote
