Royale with Cheese Posted October 11, 2021 Posted October 11, 2021 I can't effing handle this. It's the Bills and then everyone else. We are the best team in football and this doesn't happen to the Bills. 3 1 Quote
JimmyNoodles Posted October 11, 2021 Posted October 11, 2021 Well, Allen only threw at a 58% completion rate in this game, so obviously he sucks and this cannot be correct. I've read that completion % is the measure of a good QB. Oh, and he'll never make the HOF. 😀 1 1 Quote
SirAndrew Posted October 11, 2021 Posted October 11, 2021 He’ll win it if he plays like that every prime time game this season. Quote
Bleeding Bills Blue Posted October 11, 2021 Posted October 11, 2021 If Brady keeps up the torrid pace he's on I'd probably throw it his way. Murray Stafford and Herbert have all had really hot starts too. At the end of the day, 5 games is 5 games. Last year he had the stats to back it up after 4 games and crashed to earth a bit facing some tougher defenses and adjustments. Injuries will happen along lines, and to skill positions etc. Quote
Rockinon Posted October 11, 2021 Posted October 11, 2021 I think Allen's numbers are going to significantly get better as the season goes on. We've got a pretty easy schedule after facing the Titans. Wouldn't rule him out of MVP consideration just yet. Quote

NewEra Posted October 11, 2021 Posted October 11, 2021 Nice- I hammered It @ +900 a couple times Quote
Sammy Watkins' Rib Posted October 11, 2021 Posted October 11, 2021 I think this is some good forecasting. At the moment, there’s a lot of quarterbacks that have better overall numbers than Allen and are also helping their teams win. But Allen is starting to heat up in the schedule for the most part is incredibly soft coming up. And most importantly, one of the single most important factors in MVP determination is team record. A lot of quarterbacks end up having good stats. But 90% of the time the award tends to go to the quarterback that is on the number one seed in their conference. And with the upcoming strength of schedule Allen and the bills have the most likely odds of any team to finish number one in their respective conference. Quote
Nuncha Posted October 11, 2021 Posted October 11, 2021 (edited) Put a cape on number 17 cause it looks like we drafted Superman. This is for all the poor saps that said we drafted the wrong Josh. Edited October 11, 2021 by Azucho98 Quote
DCofNC Posted October 11, 2021 Posted October 11, 2021 (edited) I don’t think he will end up with the MVP because Brady is on fire and is might just take down the TD record with that team, at 44 years old. The story will make the NFL happy. Also it’s pretty likely Josh is going to miss the equivalent of at least 2 games due to being replaced in the 4th quarter. It’s the right play, but it doesn’t help the stat padding. MT should have 500 yards passing this year, all of which are missing from Josh’s tally. Also, man the analysis are all over Herbert too, so that’s another hurdle. Edited October 11, 2021 by DCofNC Quote
