H2o Posted October 11, 2021 Posted October 11, 2021 The past couple of years, especially in these big games like KC or Baltimore or Tennessee, you could see that we weren't really our typical selves on both defense and offense. Last year we got past the Baltimore hurdle in the Playoffs. This year altogether is completely different. These guys really are on a mission. We also have guys stepping up to the plate in these big moments with Josh also seemingly more settled no matter the situation. Scratch the weather (because both teams had to make due), scratch who wasn't on the field (because we both had injuries), scratch a lone RTP call (because we saw which way most of the calls went), and whatever other excuse the media or Chiefs' fans want to throw out there. The fact of the matter is we went into their house, with a chip on our shoulders, and punched the bully who had been taking our lunch money right in the mouth. We then kicked him while he was down on the ground a few times for good measure. May God bless this team with good health throughout the season because this just may be our year ladies and gents. 9 2 15 9 Quote
PatsFanNH Posted October 11, 2021 Posted October 11, 2021 Bills totally destroyed the Chiefs. Now sadly they aren’t that good so far this year sitting at 2-3 and in last place in their division. Now Buffalo is the big bad and the young upstart IMO is the Chargers. Matter fact if I had to pick an AFC Championship game that would be it right now. 3 2 Quote

CommonCents Posted October 11, 2021 Posted October 11, 2021 The tone was set early on both sides of the ball. Diggs got body slammed by Sorensen last year, first drive this year he catches a short pass and runs right at that bum. What a win!! 9 2 Quote

Two of the best young QB's in the game. If the game were played in Orchard Park the Bills would have 72,000 on their side. If the game were played in LA the Bills would have about 35,000-40,000 on their side since the Chargers don't have much of a fanbase. 4 1 1 Quote

It was complete domination on both sides of the ball. The energy and attitude around our squad is completely different this year as a whole. At no point did I ever feel like the game was in doubt truly nor was I ever worried about the Chiefs making a comeback. 1 Quote
The Firebaugh Kid Posted October 11, 2021 Posted October 11, 2021 THIS is the biggest storyline to come out if this game, IMO. You can truly see a confident team that expects to win. No hero ball, no fear, just belief and execution. This team expects to win it all, and I will not be surprised when it happens, mofos (Nate Diaz reference) 😀 4 Quote

And LA only beat the Chiefs by 6 points in a back & forth game. What I saw last night was a beat down, in the Chiefs house, by the Bills. 1 13 3 Quote
JMF2006 Posted October 11, 2021 Posted October 11, 2021 Like I said in the post game thread The Bills flew into KC and punched them in the mouth then kicked them in the nads then flew home 2 1 2 Quote

HereComesTheReignAgain Posted October 11, 2021 Posted October 11, 2021 I think the fact that Buffalo was more than ready to get into a scuffle after the play or lay a big hit shows that they were not going to be intimidated. The hit on Kelce at the end of the game was great! Even though it drew a penalty. 5 1 1 Quote
Mrbojanglezs Posted October 11, 2021 Posted October 11, 2021 Now we are going to be the "super bowl" for every team we play, every team going to give us their best to make that statement. Love it. 1 1 Quote

SCBills Posted October 11, 2021 Posted October 11, 2021 Very impressed with how physical we were last night. This team played with an edge, ferocity and capped it off by decapitating Kelce when Mahomes was inexplicably throwing hospital balls down the field end of game for no reason. I said we needed more dog in us after that AFCCG loss last year.... whew, safe to say that I am no longer worried about that. 8 Quote

Blainorama5 Posted October 11, 2021 Posted October 11, 2021 I think this attitude of not being intimidated going up against ANY team really goes back to the second half of last season - maybe even earlier. Bills have the weapons to compete with anybody now. Glad to see that mentality has transferred into this season as well! Also really impressed with Spencer Brown's physicality. He's a guy who brings some attitude - which is awesome to see in a rookie! 5 Quote

Motor26 Posted October 11, 2021 Posted October 11, 2021 Got over the Chiefs hurdle. This team is definitely capable of winning it all. Just have to execute. 2 Quote

(Pats who were a fumble and a missed FG away from being 4-1 as well. I am a firm believer you are what your record says you are.) You are right last night was a beat down. I was just stating my opinion is all. 56 minutes ago, The Firebaugh Kid said: THIS is the biggest storyline to come out if this game, IMO. You can truly see a confident team that expects to win.
