I have First Take on in the background and Stephen A. Smith and Michael Irvin are arguing who is the best QB in the league.

Stephen A. is at least being reasonable and saying in 2021 he thinks Allen, Herbert, and Rogers are all better than Mahomes right now. Irvin keeps rambling about Mahomes and Herbert.

I don't know what my point is, but Michael Irvan is the worst.

Everybody is ready and willing to die on the mahomes hill. Kellerman was on his radio show this morning and said the Chiefs are still gonna win 13 games. THIRTEEN!

I don't even mind the Mahomes argument. His resume is pretty superb. It is the immediate jump to Herbert that I find really annoying.

The roughing the passer on Oliver was just a weak as the Clark driving Allen to the ground roughing, as Oliver was blocked low into the QB, and the play was just as impactful, along with the holdings you mentioned. Don't forget about the Trey Day PI when both players were hand fighting and the pass sailed 5 yards out of bounds. The Bills were definitely on the short side of the calls last night.

Thats my pet peeve w NFL refs--flagging P.I. without quickly checking where the ball is and if it was a catchable pass.  Kelce Tre penalty did not prevent the pass from being completed, it was clearly uncatchable.

Also, Kelce pulled Tre down with him.

by all means, please explain it....

no point in trying to argue subjective points of view

There is nothing subjective about it.  It was in full view on camera. Either you didn't watch it,  you don't understand what you are seeing, or you just like to be that guy that argues with people about referee calls.

Its the stats.  He has some of the best stats for any Quarterback through their first 20 games.   I don't really have an issue with it considering how good he has been.

How the hell did this team lose to Pittsburgh?

we whipped em 1st half but had no answer for Pitt pass rush in 2nd half who knew Daboll was just throwing every play.  They pinned back and got to Josh way too often.

Just watched the play again on YouTube; he DID NOT lift Allen up. The penalty may have been called for driving Allen into the ground.

I don't disagree with the rule.

He picked up his arms to put all of his weight on Josh, rather than trying to use his arms to brace himself.  That is roughing the passer according to the rules. A bit soft compared to “the old days” but it is what it is.

Let's see...

- #1 Offense
- #1 Defense
- #1 in Takeaways
- #1 in point differential
- Slayed the Chiefs in primetime at Arrowhead

The Bills are the best team in the league. That's not hyperbole or homerism, it's just the truth.

It was SO satisfying to see Mahomes rattled, jumpy, inaccurate, and generally stomping around like a pissy brat.

It was SO satisfying to come out of that infuriating rain delay and STILL kick the Chiefs' asses up and down the field.

Josh Allen doesn't really have to prove anything else, in my opinion. He can beat good defenses, he can overcome bad weather, he can out-duel other elite QBs, he can play in hostile environments, he can play on primetime, he can win playoff games. I suppose all that's left for him to do is, well....you know.

What a game, what a night, what a team!

GO BILLS!!!

Watching some highlights with the closed captioning on this morning.  Think it was supposed to say "in the afc".  Pretty much sums up the night for KC.

Have you watched any of the Chargers games this year? Herbert is special. In the same way that Josh is special, that guy is incredible with his arm talent and, at 6’7”, the ability to actually move and run the ball. I am a homer, but I am an objective one and that guy is for real.

Why? Herbert is pretty amazing right now

There is no may about it.  He drove Allen to the ground with full weight of his body.  Its textbook nono.

Thank goodness the Fin's did not see this and took Tua.

I did watch it and fully understood what I saw. Clark did not pick him up, but he did somewhat drive Allen into the turf. That's probably why the call was made.

Definitely have zero desire to argue with you.

Apologies if already posted upthread, but man, this post game presser by Sanders prolly deserves its own thread--he basically admits that at times, he's a fan just like us, amazed at what Josh is capable of out there, "on a whole other level" than other QB's he's played for...
