sirebors Posted October 10, 2021 Posted October 10, 2021 I just realized that NBC has been removed from Dish Network. Does anyone know of an alternate way to view the Chief's game tomorrow? I want a way to view it on my TV that is definite, reliable and high quality. If not I may just go get a Spectrum cable box before it starts. Thanks in advance. Quote
PirateHookerMD Posted October 10, 2021 Posted October 10, 2021 It will be on Peacock, you can sign up for a free trial. 1 Quote
Just Jack Posted October 10, 2021 Posted October 10, 2021 If you're close enough to your local broadcast tower, an antenna will work. 1 Quote
Miyagi-Do Karate Posted October 10, 2021 Posted October 10, 2021 I think it streams for free on yahoo. 1 Quote

You can find out how far you are from the TV tower here: https://www.antennasdirect.com/transmitter-locator.html You can make this in about an hour. If you don't have a basement full 'o useful-looking stuff, a trip to the nearby Micro Center might be needed for the balun: https://www.htpc-diy.com/2012/04/diy-flexible-fractal-window-hdtv.html 'Course, while you're at MicroCenter buying the Balun, you could just buy an HDTV antenna https://www.microcenter.com/search/search_results.aspx?N=&cat=&Ntt=HD+TV+antenna&searchButton=search 1 Quote

sirebors Posted October 10, 2021 Author Posted October 10, 2021 OK I'm out of the loop, lol. Where do I get peacock or fubo? Do I need an Amazon firestick or something? What about youtube TV or yahoo? Would I get them on my laptop? Where exactly in yahoo? Sorry for being old and clueless, lol. Quote
Doc Brown Posted October 10, 2021 Posted October 10, 2021 I don't know what your financial situation is but switching to Spectrum is pry your best bet if you're old and clueless. I've tried pretty much everything but always end up back with Spectrum. 1 1 1 Quote

Given that we are fast approaching game time, that seems like your simplist option. Quote
sirebors Posted October 10, 2021 Author Posted October 10, 2021 (edited) I found this... Has links... I have DirecTV specifically to get NFL Sunday Ticket. I just checked and I'm getting NBC now, so whatever happened with Dish Network is not affecting me. NFL Sunday Ticket doesn't include Sunday Night Football, anyway. 1 Quote

You can watch on newer Smart TVs from LG, Samsung, Visio etc. or with Apple TV or Fire TV The TV may already have an app for it installed or you can search/download, then log in and go (like using Netflix) Can also use on computer or ipad Quote
davefan66 Posted October 10, 2021 Posted October 10, 2021 Antenna. I use an outdoor HD antenna to watch home Bills games while using my DTV for Sunday Ticket. Works great. I’ve also used those flat indoor antennas with good luck for my lower level TV setup. Get a few pixalations now and again, not as strong an antenna as the outdoor one. 1 Quote

bmur66 Posted October 10, 2021 Posted October 10, 2021 What are the chances they settle by game time today? Direct TV pulled this BS a couple years ago and I switched to Dish Network before the football season started. Of course they settled right before the season started after I had already switched. I really hate this game of chicken they play. I am prepared to stream the game tonight. I will switch again if they don't get it worked out soon. Dish Network sucks anyways. Quote
