Jets, Falcons, Pats twice, Colts, Saints.... he finds 4 wins in there. It would be less ideal going in but as far as backup positions go the Bills are in as good of one as it is possible to be and on this schedule I think Trubisky in any 8 game stretch is at least a .500 QB. Should Josh be rested for the cupcakes? Better to for rest than injury, no? Quote

frostbitmic Posted October 9, 2021 Posted October 9, 2021 Just trade Wilson straight up to the Texans for Watson. Quote

At least there would be fewer INTs lol Ahh, 2013 ... the weakest QB draft class ever, when we decided that this was the year we had to draft our franchise QB. Career stats: EJ Manuel: 6-12 as a starter, 58.1 completion percentage, 77.1 QB rating Geno Smith: 12-19, 57.9, 73.0 Haha Jets, we won that one! And I'll admit I really wanted us to draft Matt Barkley: 2-5, 58.4, 66.6 The record is horrible, but you could make a case that Mike Glennon had the best career of any 2013 QB: 6-21, 61.1, 83.5 Quote

Advantage Geno. Geno won 6 more games than EJ did. Advantage Geno. Quote

Maynard Posted October 10, 2021 Posted October 10, 2021 Feel bad for Wilson and don’t wanna see anyone get hurt, but this couldn’t have happened to a crappier fan base. Quote

dpberr Posted October 10, 2021 Posted October 10, 2021 If I were Seattle, Id try to trade for Foles. He'd give them a chance and he wouldn't cost the king's ransom to get. Bears don't appear to need him. Quote

It will be interesting to see how he plays over a several game stretch. However as others have said, their defense is awful. Adams in coverage either zone or man is a terrible idea. He just can't cover. Terrible trade for Seattle. They should move him to OLB and take advantage of his ability to blitz, cover slower guys, and shoot the gaps on run defense. Quote
Chicharito Posted October 10, 2021 Posted October 10, 2021 Trading your backup for a 1st can be done! Look at the way Jacksonville fleeced us with rob Johnson! Quote
