Albany,n.y. Posted April 29, 2005 Posted April 29, 2005 Giant Flutie, an oxymoron? Giants | Looking At Flutie - from www.KFFL.com Thu, 28 Apr 2005 21:54:19 -0700 The New York Times reports free agent QB Doug Flutie (Chargers) visited with the New York Giants on Thursday. He also took a physical for the team. Giants GM Ernie Accorsi described the visit as a routine part of the team's evaluation of available players. It is unclear if negotiations between the Giants and Flutie's agent, Kristen Kuliga, were underway.
Albany,n.y. Posted April 29, 2005 Author Posted April 29, 2005 He'd be hanging around Albany in August if the Giants signed him. I could watch him in Giants camp & beg his forgiveness for choosing Rob over him.
BuckeyeBill Posted April 29, 2005 Posted April 29, 2005 That is a little ironic... That would have been if like former WR Brad Lamb were to join the Lions. Or if a Native American were to join the Cowboys. Or if a good person joined the Dolphins.
EndZoneCrew Posted April 29, 2005 Posted April 29, 2005 F-L-U-T-I-E...whats that spell......MVP......that chant brings back some good memories......I hope that "lil guy" catches on somewhere
dib Posted April 29, 2005 Posted April 29, 2005 Maybe he was inspired by watching the movie "Little Giants"
stuckincincy Posted April 29, 2005 Posted April 29, 2005 Flutie and Coughlin...a marriage made in Heaven.

#41 Posted April 29, 2005 Posted April 29, 2005 Maybe there's room on his GIANT BACK to carry the Giants.
crazyDingo Posted April 29, 2005 Posted April 29, 2005 He'll make a great mentor for the Manning boy. He's a terrific team-first guy.
