Modern MLB is very hard to grade.  1.  Its impossible to truly know what there responsibilities are on a given play.  2.  The game has changed.  Coming forward, shedding blocks, eating rbs is not the most important thing.  
3.  The offense revolution due to player saftey opens up the middle of field like never before. 
 

Look at Mahomes passing chart.  There is an abyss in the middle of the field due to Edmunds size and range.  I believe he is taught to read pass first than run.  His size will give him a leverage disadvantage on runs up the middle.  Modern day football isnt won with Iso or inside counter so its not that big of a deal overall.  Vs modern offenses and elite Qbs Edmunds is the type of MLB you want imo.
