Please Beane, PLEASE pass on Gilmore!!!

We already wasted tens of millions of cap space on him and it got us nowhere!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Recent history suggests that really wasn’t his fault.

I don’t think we wasted that much space on him all things considered.

I doubt he’d have been physically able to play even they cut him before.

At 31 and coming off injury I really don't see how he is going to demand a huge contract. From here on out I would be surprised if he is even an above average CB at this point.

He's better than every corner on our team other than Tre White.

probably suggesting they didn’t want Tampa scooping him up and mining him for information before they played them.

It's going to take a lot to sign the guy.  He was essentially released because he wanted more money.   To me the only teams I see being able to sign him money wise that Gilmore would be willing to play for are the Panthers, Chargers, Packers, and Seahawks with the Browns having an outside shot.     He would need to come off of wanting a lot of money to play for the Ravens or Chiefs.

But there’s 10 other teams that can scoop him for info before they play the Pats.

Kinda silly to suggest they were really worried about an out of conference game that much.

I hope he stays out of the AFC.

I'm guessing Carolina.  Baltimore doesn't really know how much money it has until they extend Lamar.  I don't see Gilmore going anywhere for less money at this point in his career.

This game was a little more personal for Belicheck.

He'd be serving a new role if brought him back, he'd be a #2 CB and he'd be a damn good one.
