Was a FA after this season. His injury issues and the fact that the Pats young corners have done reasonably well without him made this pretty predictable. I do think KC is a likely landing spot.

He never wanted to be here. He didn’t want to come here and he couldn’t wait to leave. It’s a much different culture here now but I still don’t think it would happen. Not in a million years

One can hope. Ring chasing and gets to play his old team twice.  But if Brady calls him i'm sure that's the team

I doubt he would come back here as he is about $ and we wouldn’t overpay for him.

He’ll get picked up by a team hurting in the area. Our #2 is not bad and we have one of the better nickel CB’s in the league not to mention the safety tandem.

Or in Tampa Bay. I'm sure he misses playing with Tom.

If we can get for League Min I would be all for it. But not sure his Year is guaranteed already starting on PUP.

also have a feeling there are about 5 teams that will lay out a good multi year contract for him. KC being one.

I don't like the way he left with the dollar bill shoes and all, but this is a different Bills team and a serious contender. He and Tre along with Poyer and Hyde would be a ridiculous secondary.

This is hardly “stunning” and actually quite predictable once Gilmore started his new contract nonsense and suffered his also predictable preseason injury.  He can probably still play and will likely help someone this year, but no thanks on the Bills, not that there is any chance of that.

What's the Bills cap situation like? Could they make it work financially? Gilmore probably won't be a Bill but given how good the team is now I bet he would show interest.

He was a FA after this year, an older, expensive guy on a roster that isn't close to contending.... I can't see why anyone is "stunned".

Not that McBeane wants him but why not Buffalo? He can avoid being made to look like a chump by Josh Allen and company.

KC, Bucs, Ravens

Always and forever

He'll sign with KC and play this week

He can’t play this week. On the 6 week PUP list.

I hate Belichick, but the guy gets the most out of every defender. Gilmore went from an average player here, to All-Pro in New England. We'll see how he fares if they decide to start calling him for holding again now that he's out of NE.

They gave him a huge contract, I think the 2nd highest in the league at the time.  You don't give that contract to an average player.  Gilmore was very good here.
